Leave a CommentThis recording is looking for a Nicholas Farmer. It givesme an instruction to press 3 if their calling the wrong party. I've done that, the calls keep coming. Real nuisance. I don'tknow who they're looking for and am getting sick of this.
Received incoming call. The guy identified himself as Jared and I asked "Jared who?" He ***g up.
If you want to have some fun bothering these people, without paying for the call, you might try using the 800 number in this info:Fifth Third Processing Solutions38 Fountain Square PlazaCincinnati, OH 45263United StatesPhone: 1-800-375-1744 #2Fax: 1-513-534-7372I can't try it out right now... if anybody does, please post which touch-tone ****ons to press to get to a human right away!
Ok, I called 5/3 bank (I have a home loan through them) and asked them why this number keeps calling me. He said it's the collection agency and I am probably in there computer by mistake. He says it happens all of the time. They removed me from the computer. We'll see if the calls stop.
Sounds like I get the same calls as everyone else. Chase also does the same thing. It seems like a ma****e will call and you wait on the phone for several seconds and than you are transfered to a customer service representative. It is really annoying. They always call when I cannot answer at work and never leave messages. I have not figured out yet why they have called.
I got three calls from this number today, but I never answered them since I don't recognize the number. They never leave messages.
These idiots call my business several times a day...and **** up. I have called and wanted to have number removed which did work for about 3 days.
Called and said please hold then after a few seconds the line went dead.
How interesting. Reading the above postings may the reason they called me as a solicitor and not concern for my $17.26 checking account. Trying to peddle me with a credit card offer when I am unemployed.
I have been receiving calls at my WORK! Today they called at 5:50 and 10:14. Each time they've called I haven't been able to answer and they haven't left a voice message. However, my voice mail on my work number is OBVIOUSLY a work voice mail. Is it the attorney general that I should contact to make sure this stops?
I have been getting at least 4 calls a day from this number, even on weekends. This has been going on for a couple months. It is getting to the point where it useless to answer my phone or check my voicemail anymore. I tried calling them back once and they apologized and said the number used to belong to someone else and they would remove me from the list. Well a week later the calls s****ed a***n. This time I have contacted the bank via email and we will see what happens. I have never had an account with 5/3 or Old Kent or any other bank except my own which I know is not affiliated.
They've been calling me 6x's a day for about 3 days. I don't pick up and they don't leave a message. I have no accounts or business with 5/3rd Bank. I called from a generic line and gave them the number (they have it anyhow). They blocked it from their system and said it'll take about 48 hours to take effect. We'll see.
getting about 5 calls a day for the last couple of weeks.
called left message on answering mach
I received a **** up call from this number 3/19/08 5:30pI dialed the number back and 5th 3rd automated answering answered with a multi-option banking menu.Hope the baz****s don't call back.
10:30 AM feb 22, 2008I got a call, they did not leave a message.I called the number back and they said it was the American Red Cross. I said, 'who called' and he said that he runs about 200 lines, and if they get any incoming calls it goes directly to him. He said to wait until they call me back to see what they wanted.
Left message on answering ma****e and stated he was calling from fifth third. Said his name so fast and garbled that the name could not be ascertained. Did not leave any call back number or any useful information.
According to most of the other comments, this is good ole FIFTH THIRD BANK, is it? Well, this **** is enough to make me switch to another bank ~~ and I think we will after the first of the year. Before 5/3 bought out Old Kent Bank, we had no problem. They don't merely desire our money, they also want to fill up our Caller ID's.
I have been receiving numerous calls from this number. Whenever I pickup an automated voice s****s telling me some options. I am very annoyed with them. I have also called 5/3 Bank and asked them to take my number off the list. I am not even a 5/3 Bank customer. I am really frustrated with them and would surely like to take action!
I work for 5/3 Bank and can confirm this number shows up for ALL calls coming from the Cincinnati call center. When I call my husband from work this number always shows up on his caller ID. I am just an admin so I don't make outbound calls to customers but I overhear a lot of people who do. The section to one side of me is offering credit cards and the section behind me is offering home equity lines of credit. The sales people in my department call on business banking customers to sell credit card processing. They do ask for some personal information before discussing an account. They should ask for 2 "in wallet" and 1 "out of wallet" piece of info. In wallet would be anything someone could find in your wallet...address, name, phone number, ssn. Out of wallet is mother's maiden name, last deposit amount, additional signers on the account....
Keeps calling at all times, requesting my to verify my address. They claim they are from fifth third bank.
these people keep calling and i keep telling them they have the wrong number. i thinking about taking legal action on them. they are from fifth third bank
