Mr. Abbott is one of the collectors for the law firm of Thomas and Thomas (located in Ohio and Kentucky). He uses a recording to tell people to call him. Problem with this system is when you return the call you are sent to voice mail, where if you do leave a message it evidently is ignored. 2 weeks ago I filed bankruptcy, I know the court sent them notice of the case, yet they still call anytime between 8 AM and 9 PM 7 days each week.  I have called and left the case number and phone number of our attorney and requested they do not call us anymore and have had my attorney send them a second cease and desist communications with us. Now we'll see if they honor the legal side.

They refuse to stop calling even after notified by fax copy of legal action being brought a***nst them for continued harassment.

The number is for the law office of Thomas and Thomas. I filed for bankruptcy protection 5 days ago, at that time my attorney faxed them a copy of the case file to insure they knew first hand and to stop the calls about garnishment threats. Now they call three times each day. As of Monday morning I am having charges filed a***nst them for illegal harassment. This should turn very interesting very quickly.

There is no Linda Smith at the phone number you are calling.  It is my phone number and not her.  I've had it for over 4 years.  She gave you the wrong number.  So please stop calling it.You should have an 800 number so someone can call you back without costing them for a long distance call.

It is an attorney's office who is calling as a debt collector. You return the call and you will find out you owe somebody money, more than likely. I think they set up a predictive autodialer to call your number until you respond.

The caller was unclear....no reason given for call....kept calling

the caller claimed to be a lawyer calling from Thomas and Thomas debt collections.  Said his name was John Detty.

Sounds like the guy was ***** or really tired when he called couldnt understand a word!
