just got my statement and payment was due 2 days before recieving statement. told them you get your money when i get my statement. then they complain that i pay via internet banking.my cc company can send my statement before the due date why can't they and its only 2 days over due,all because of them not me.

Keeps calling repe***ively all day long. I have a feeling it's the HSBC credit card head office in Montreal calling.

just got a call from that number, tried to reverse look it up and turned up nothing.  the guy asked for my husband and when i said he was at work he just ***g up.  freaked me right out.  but now i'm thinking it is the brick because we do owe them money and a couple other people mentioned them here.  so thanks for the info, feeling a little safer now! ha.  ****s

I receive a call from this number several times a day but when I return the call, the operator says that the call cannot be completed....

I don't know what is wrong with these people. I have had an account with HSBC, and it is paid in FULL, yet the calls continue, sometimes everyday, every hour. When they do leave a message it is in french, even though my voicemail message is in english, (duh!).When I call them, they confirm there is no money owing, but can't explain why I keep getting the calls.What a pain in the a@%. All they do is fill up my voicemail.

Legally they can call from 8am to 9pm, and they do, if you owe them even $20 they will keep calling.  I have a phone that blocks calls now but it still rings once.  I am in the process of bankruptcy so my calls should stop soon.  It was the limit for me when they know I have terminal cancer and they asked if I had life insurance!  Yes I do and it goes to my 6 and 8 year old sons!  I get that I owe but what the***** is wrong with these people?  Do they have no human decency at all?

Same problem here, they call non stop from 8 am until 9 pm. Every 20 mins to every hour.... Ime so frustrated...

I as well get frequent calls from this number, as well as from 1-800-361-5783 and 1-800-277-6866. In some cases all I get is silence, in other cases all I get is a recording telling me my call is important to them and asking me to stay on the line - no one ever answers. HSBC is abusing their calling rights, and are borderline with the Ca***ian Government harassment policies. These calls occur at least once every hour, in many cases I receive calls from 2 or all 3 of the numbers every hour - thats a lot of phone calls. This is annoying and most definitely beginning to bother me. HSBC has GOT to be stopped!

Hey,Just wanted to let everyone know my situation. I think they are scammers as well, they call probably at 4 times a day, there is never anyone on the other line. Having said that, I do have an HSBC Account, and its paid off. Ive confirmed this with HSBC (that the account is paid).******ed fing *****s is all they are.

Answer and tell them they have the wrong number they will stop. Trust me.

I paid my monthly HSBC payment a couple days ago that I had agreed upon with the lady from the company. I s****ed getting these phone calls today, 4 times already, and I am very upset to find out it's from this company!! Why are they harassing me for more money when I already set up a payment arrangement? Ugh! How frustrating.

I heard that telemarketing "bots" call people throughout the day just to see when you will answer the phone, nothing answers when you pick up, its just put on record that you might be there during that time of day. Perhaps that is what this is.

Apparently 1-514-252-5138 is unassigned (when I try to call back).  Only makes sense that it's HSBC.Missed my payment, and I got a call from 1-800-361-5783 every single day, 8am to 9pm almost every hour, then it proceeded to every 45 minutes, then it was every 20 minutes at times.Then, after 2 months, I got a call from 1-800-277-6866 and the same things kept happening.  I thought this 2nd number was collections.  It doesnt make sense that both departments can harrass people like this nonstop.  I've NEVER been hassled this bad with ANY of my personal banks. This company is horrible.  We need to step up to take action.  I understand they want their money but if somebody isn't answering the phone when you call every 20 minutes, get the f***ing hint.

Called from 18002776866 3 times Friday, all 3 times asked for Sandra... told them wrong number the first 2 times, freaked out on them the third time, told them to remove from the list, they told me I wasnt on the list.  Sat morning I s**** receiving calls from this #, so I got onto this page and figured out they were both from HSBC (I dont have an account).  I called back the 277 6866 number and asked a***n to remove, so Im keeping my fingers crossed.

Well I haven't answered the number yet, but I get a call from them five to six times a day. This is kind of reassuring, at least I know w***ver it is, they're just scammers.

I have been receiving calls from this number 3-4 times a day on my home and cell phone. I havent answered but when I call the number back I get a message that the number is not in service.

I closed my account with HSBC Finance about a year ago. Today they called me and told me I owe but they said 150.00 and after I spoke with them the woman on the other line said 125.00 after I mistakenly said 125.00 then she said 125.50...lastly she desperately wanted me to deposit 20.00 I wasn't going to do that- They would not leave a name and number when someone else asked if they could leave a message. And when we do call that number back it's not a working phone number. Even my unilingual non English speaking mother tried that number and got a disconnected notice. What a SCAM!!!

I have received 6 calls from this number.  I have not answered any.  They do not leave messages.  When I call this number I get a recording saying the number is not in use.
