Why doesn't the "do not call" list stop these calls???? Is there no way to stop them???

I tried to register my US number with the Ca***ian do not call list at the URL that you posted.  A message screen popped up saying that it had to be a valid Ca***ian number in order to register it.

Received call on my cell phone this morning.  I didn't hear the phone ring so it just came up as a missed call.  No message.  I am on the do not call list in the US, but didn't know I should register in Ca***a also!!

Comes from Ca***a near Montreal...pushing some bogus pills promising weight loss.  I'm on the US No Call List, but this apparently has no effect on insternational calls.

So****ing about weight loss with no way to interupt the call or talk to a live person. At the end of the computer message, it said thank you for calling. I didn't call them. I've been on the do not call list for 6 years so this is bull.

Recording that purported to be a "survey" call soliciting poss. interest in a weight-loss product. Offered an opt out option but I kept listening to find out what it was about as I suspected illegal telemarketing. About 3 hrs later a live male called from

I got a call from this number too rang 4 times and ***g up I am also on the do not call list and evidently the do not call list doesn't work.

Don't know anyone from that area code. I never answer anyone that doesn't show a name.

I'm on the do not call list.  Please track down this number so they won't bother people who don't want their calls.

called and then called a***n-no message just a **** up. I did receive another call from Washington-a research marketing group just a little after the Montreal call. Maybe they are connected......

Received a call from this number as well as other numbers from Ca***a.  I c****ed my home no. I didn't return the call.  Also I have an unlisted number.  But I live in the U.S. and don't know anyone from Ca***a or have creditors in Ca***a.  So why would a creditor or company from Ca***a call me??

UNKNOWN NAME on Caller IDPhone rang twice, and when I picked it up after second ring it had already disconnected. When I called the number back got the sounds of a fax ma****e.The Do Not Call List apparently does no good.............. :(

got a call from 5147314099 from Quebec - did not leave a message. why do they bother to disrupt people.  very annoying.  How can these calls stop.  They called me on my cell phone.

Received a call from 514-731-4099 on Aug. 31 @ 1:00pm.  Didn't leave a message.  Caller ID read "Montreal PG" .

Called but left no message. I called the number but no one answered.
