I received an email from PayPal also asking me to click a link to verify my PayPal account information. This number was listed as a contact for PayPal. DO NOT CALL. I forwarded the entire mail to PayPal.

This number was on a fraud email I received phishing for my PayPal account info. It has been forwarded to PayPal and other authorities.

I received 2 charges on my charge card.  The first one was a credit for $.01.   The description was "ALERTPAY* 9240* CODE WITHDRAWAL  CREDIT".   Then 3 days later was a $360 charge, description "ALERTPAY.COM    514-7485774  CY".      I called the number, and the automated answering service first spoke in English and then in French, I immediately ***g up and googled the number.  Verizone, my cell phone carrier, told us that because the call was less than one minute, there wasn't a charge.My credit card has been cancelled, and am s****ing the dispute process. But think about it...    when someone puts a charge on your charge card...  if the consumer doesn't notice the charge the scammers get the money..    and if they do notice the charge and call the number, they get the phone charge.Please Beware!!!

Number is AlertPay - an payment processing company

made a fraudulent charge to my credit card.

This happens to me now. I got charged without calling this number.I'm calling my phone company to report this number. Report this to your Phone company immediately. I'm calling my lawyer to see what we can do to stop this FRAUDULENT SCAM.
