I have reveived many phone calls from them in the past 2 months.  When they leave a message on the answering ma****e the name who they are calling for gets cut off, however they are able to leave a phone number.  When I finally got sick and tired of them using my caller ID I called them back.  It turned out they were asking for someone I don't know. I told them to take my phone number off the list since I didn't know that person.  Guess what... I still keep getting the calls.

These people must be looking for the previous owner of the phone number. I don't owe them anything.

Calls over and over they either leave a message about a personal mater or when I answer they want to know if I'm so and so if not who am I it's none of there buisiness who I am ask them who they are they **** up or ignore you untill you **** up but they keep calling like trying to get you to fill in the blank form for them gotta stop this. Isn't there a LAW? Call them back they have caller ID as well they even ask you if this is your number and if you are so and so! you tellem no they say they'll remove your number then they turn around and call from another number 062-200-6883 with unknown name

I got the same call with an english acccent. I did call back the number and the asked for the previous owner that owned the ho*****is is just phishing trying to find some one who owes them money. this will happen to new home owners if the home they bought was a forclosed home

2 mornings in a row this company has called me waking my husband and myself out of a dead sleep.  The first time there was a recording telling me that they had an important message and then put me on hold.  I ***g up.  The next morning at 5am they did it a***n and I didn't answer it.  Later that morning they called a***n, a***n I didn't answer it.  This time they left a message stating that they were from the CBE Group and "this message is intended for...", but never left a name.  I deleted the message.  I went through this once before with another collection agency and I'm getting sick and tired of it.  We had no outstanding debts and should not have to be harassed by them.

I was ****** and answered the phone even though I didn't recognize the number and it ended up costing me even though I have unlimited minutes. It was the voice of a woman recorded saying "I'm sorry for the wait, that is all". It was really strange...

Have received several calls from them recently, but no message was left.  I called them to explain this, inform them that my number is on the Do Not Call Registry, and to ask why they were calling me.  They said that is was regarding a personal matter and would not give me any other information unless I would confirm iden***y details about myself, which I refused to do.  I also have no outstanding bills, so they have no reason to contact me.  I will also take John's advice, even though I verbally asked them to stop calling me.

They call me at least a half dozen times a day but, thanks to caller ID, I know who they are and just don't answer the phone.  I have an outstanding debt from a cancer hospital which I am paying off monthly.  The hospital is happy with the arrangement but says that turning the debt over to CBE is "automatic" and handled by their computers so don't worry about it.  I actually like John's suggestion and will try it.  Having to check and ignore calls is a real inconvenience.

i keep getting this number calling me and they never leave a message and they call about 5-6 times a day. If it is a bill collector I don't know why they are contacting me, I don't have anything outstanding

They call my cell phone about once a month and never leave a message.

I get these calls from CBE, when I pick up the phone a messages says sorry for the delay. Any time there is a taped message I automatically **** up. As reading all of the above, they are bill collectors.  I just purchased a home so I know I don't owe anyone anything.

I do not answer it.

Had a baby 6 months ago that we're trying to pay off the balance for (after insurance covered their end). This number has called. They guy I finally talked to asked if I was intending to pay off my debt. I told him yes so he asked me if that would be on my card. I laughed and told him he was cute and that I didn't have the full amount due. Guy turned into an**** and asked for a financial statement from me which I denied - when was the last time someone called you asking for personal financials and you just gave it all? He got angrier and ruder so I ***g up on him. If the hospital wants more money that badly they can call me instead of siccing an****hole company on me.

CBE Group are bill collectors. Even if they are looking for you, you have the RIGHT to tell rhem to contact you by snail mail and to stop calling your phone. And if they don't stop calling that you'll file a harrassment report with the attorney general's office. They may require that request in writing before they'll stop calling (but usually not). If they don't stop calling, file a harrassment report (it's free and easy). After they s**** contacting you via snail mail YOU MUST return the mail contact with them. You can tell them to take a flying leap if you're so willed to do, but if you do not not return mail contact then they have the right to call a***n.

Have gotten several calls from this number.  Not knowing who it is I haven't answered till today.  The caller asked for my husband's ex-wife.  Been divorced for 13 years and she never had this number.  Also asked for her by new married name.  I told him who she was and that she never had this number.  I  also told him if he gets ahold of her,,tell her to pay my husband his back child support that she owes (over $15K).  He laughed and said ok and he would take our number off his list. LOL!!

They have been calling regularly and leaving the message that it is Dan and I need to call back.  When I answer it is a recording saying it is Dan.  Who in the world is Dan?

They have called my house every day (sometimes two times a day) for two months now. This has continued even after recording a message stating that the previous party who had my phone number (the people I suspect they are looking for) no longer have it. They are the only solicitors/bill collectors who ever call my house and it is DRIVING.. ME.. CRAZY!!!!

I've gotten probably 8 calls in the past couple months fro this number. It just leaves a message which is alrady mid-way through a recording sying so****ing like "this is Bob/Fred, please call me back at some 800 or 888 number." What's the deal

Caller ID say's "CBE Group Inc." They are a bill collector that keeps calling my house. If i dont answer the phone, they leave a recorded message saying that i have a very urgent message and to call them back. They never say what they want, unless you answer the phone.

Numerous call from this number asking to call back, but no name and no details left.
