This is a legit number for Shazam. They use this to verify that your card activity is not fraud.
Got a call today stating there were su****ious purchases on my debit card. Said they would close my card and send another one. Called my bank to verify and there were no charges on my bill like they said. They froze my card as of today and I have to go in the bank to get another card. People - get a job like me and get your own card !!!!!!
I'm tired of receiving harassing phone calls from this number, if you can do so****ing. I will appreciate it.
I got a similar call as those above (From Shazam) and i'm glad i did. Shazam "Hot carded" my debit card, so ***ody could continue using it. When they called there were 3 charges , that i had not made. My wife works at the bank where the card is from, and when her boss checked pending transactions, there were 5 . Fortunately all 5 had not hit the account, so we can declare them "Unauthorized" and not have to pay them. If you get a call like this, don't waste time, get your card shut down right away.
