Six times today I have received voice mails from a man named Officer Williams from 515-418-9339 stating that they are an officer and that "my friend" (they even use his name.. however, its not a friend of mine... just someone I know) has been involved with fraud activities and that I need to call them back to wire them money to avoid being arrested myself.  The man has such a thick accent that I can barely understand him. Sounds like he is from India.  DO NOT EVER give out any info to them.  They will tell you personal information to try to get you to give in.  Please be careful, there are so many scams out there today.  Just remember that if it was actual charges you would have heard from an actual officer in person or by mail, not somebody with a terribly thick accent looking for personal information.

I also received a call exactly like Trish did.  I also advised I never applied for any loan and got rather aggrivated w/ the man. He had a very strong foreign accent and got very rude w/ me when I continually told him I could not understand him.  I handed the phone to my husband to deal w/ him & the guy ***g up on him after we both adamantly told him we had not applied for a loan.

S****ed getting calls from this number yes****ay 7/14/2009.  S****ed in the afternoon, the guy speaks foreign, possibly India and stated that he's calling because of an auto loan application that I am seeking approval for?  I know nothing about an auto loan since I already own a car.  Anyway the calls continued after I told him to stop calling me and that I wasn't interested.  That didn't work apparently because they kept calling up until 9:19pm last night.  I have reported them to the DO NOT CALL registry and hopefully if enough people report this number then they'll do so****ing about it.

this number calls my home 4 to 5 times a day. No one answers when i say*****o and then they **** up right after. when i call back it takes me to an automated answering ma****e asking for a pin. It is getting very annoying

The dumb f***ing indian called me after i put a app in for dish network. when i was talking to him he was wanting all my family members social security numbers. He sounds like a dumb f***ing iraq u cant understand him. but if he calls u tell him hes going to f***ing rot in***** for f***ing with a us soldier.

Twice today I have received call a call from a man named Officer Williams from 515-418-9339 stating that they are an officer with United Federal Bank and that I am being charged with federal wire fraud from accepting a wire transfer into my bank account in 2007.  They want me to wire them money today by 4 pm to avoid files being charged a***nst me.  The man has a thick accent, sounds like he is from India.  He called a***n a second time after I already s****ed doing my homework on this company.  I told him that he would hear from my attorney if this continued and he told me that this is a federal matter and I will have these charges filed a***nst me today.  I have an aunt that works for the county attorney office and she even tells me it is a scan as well as my banker.  He insisted that these charges will be filed and that I will need my attorney. I ***g up on him.DO NOT EVER give out anything else or wire them the money.  They will tell you personal information such as your social security number and bank account information but that can be purchased from people unfortunately.  Please be careful, there are so many scams out there today.  Just remember that if it was actual charges you would have heard from an actual officer in person or by mail, not somebody with a terribly thick accent.

This is an annoying caller.  They never leave a message and when I call it back it says that the number is disconnected.  I have my number listed on the national do not call list, so is this really a telemarketer, or collector?
