If you are being harassed by a collection agency, you can  do a google search and get their Company 's physical address.  (Reverse # look-up  may do it ). Go on-line, and look-up  how to write what is called a "Cease and Desist" letter and send it to the Co that is bothering you. MUST be sent by certified mail, which is a pain but it should stop the harrassment.  (Make sure you make a copy of it for your records,). If they continue to call you, INSIST  on getting the name of the person you are speaking with, and tell them you have sent a letter of Cease and Desist, (Sometimes this works without you actually having to send a letter....the person on the phone has no idea if you are bluffing or not). and that the next step is you taking them to court for harassment. This SHOULD stop them in their tracks from bothering you a***n.(Make sure to record WHO you spoke with, DATE and TIME.) Good luck

Received numerous calls from DCS. Did google search. They are a company in Iowa that sell windows, roofing and  house house siding. .I don't know if they are ligit or not, but bothersome phone calls are a real pain, and I certainly would be wary of dealing with them, even if I was in the need of their services.

DCS is a collection agency.  Being on a DO NOT CALL list does not prevent them from calling you.  If you have no debts or are being harrassed by them inform your state's attorney general.

Just received a call from this number, but did not answer as it took awhile to get to the phone and they had given up.  Google searched and found this site.  Date is: 5/15/08 time was 7:52 pm.

Even though I am signed up for the Do-Not-Call List, I received a phone call from 515-473-6054 at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2008. The caller identified himself as Carl (as I recall) from DCS****ociates and asked if I planned to have any windows or doors replaced this spring, I said "no" and he said goodbye. (This is my recollection.)  Since I haven't received such a call for years, it surprised me and I didn't complain during the call.  I tried calling the number but got only busy signals or no answer.  Upon checking the internet (at http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-515-473-6054 ), I learned that others had complained about such calls and that you could talk to a person at DCS by calling 515-473-6060.  When I called that number at 2:11 p.m., the person apologized and said the caller must be new and had erred.  He said that they are not selling anything but calling on behalf of energy-star programs or so****ing like that, implying but not outright saying that it wasn't an inappropriate call since they weren't selling themselves.  I replied that it was still a violation of the Do-Not-Call law and told him that I would be filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Attorney General's office.

515-473-6054 came up as DC's****ociate on our caller ID.  I didn't answer it - work third shift and don't appreciate the phone ringing throughout the day.  I'm on the do not call list of course, but that obviously doesn't stop all the calls.  When I call the number back, no one answers
