I get a man's voice sometimes and a women's voice once.  Asking money for different charities.  They always ask for someone, then when I say the don't live here, they say that I can help.  This morning the guy got a little lippy with me.  I starred (*) 57.  It is strange, like someone else said, an 800 number comes in first, I don't answer, then a little while later, I get the wireless caller.

My dad was digging in the back yard today and I got a phone call from a strange man that said "I wouldn't dig there." It was strange because my dad was actually digging and I thought maybe it was a neighbor so I star 69 the call and got the number then we called US Cellular and they said that they have had numerous complaints about this number and that we should google it. So that's where I'm at so if anyone knows any info please post so****ing on the internet somewhere that links it to their number. Thanks

Called today did not get to phone ontime caller ID says wireless caller (515)868-5012 I called back the PH# and it went directly to a full mail box so I left a page and no one called back. I did a google search and found this site and after reading all these comments it sounds very crooked to me. I hope this person calls me back so I can give him the third degree.

Called today asking for donations for clothes for veterans.  We declined.  By the way, the phone number "Mike" lists on this page (515-993-4567)will connect you to the Dallas County sheriff's office, not the Des Moines Police.

It seems that its tied to the Iowa Firefighters****ociation according to the State of Iowa Secretary of State under Non-Profit Organizations.  It looks to be registered under a STEPHEN A KENKEL of Toledo Iowa (an attorney at law).  Its registered under chapter CODE 504 REVISED DOMESTIC NON-PROFIT.  I can't understand the codes readings since I am not a lawyer.  However, their calls are an annoyance!  As I see it you can do 1 of 2 or 3 or all things listed.  Dial *57 after each call (when you **** up) from the call.  This will activate CALL TRACE.  3 traces mat****g the same number will flag to Qwest and legal action will be taken with the subscriber of the service.  Any service!  CALL TRACE is free and is under the Iowa Tariff of services. If you don't have Qwest, contact your provider for the code or department that deals with these issues.  The other is if you are a Qwest subscriber, contact them and talk with the annoyance call division or a department supporting this action.  Last contact the Attorney General or the Iowa Utilities Board and report the annoyance.

Calls twice a day. If I answer, there's no one on the other end. If I don't, they don't leave a message.Tried calling it back and got a Mailbox full message, but had the option to page that caller. I suggest we all s**** paging this guy with the Des Moines police department number. (515) 993-4567

Calls everyday, two or three times a day.  Says nothing, just ****s up.

on the message tape 2 men talking 1 with the phone and 1 in back ground. the man with the phone was cussing, talking to man in back ground

this numer calls me & always ****s up on the third ring we dont answer random calls from numbers we dont kno thats out of state. we ant them to stop!

This number calls me atleast 5 times a day and ****s up.  I call back and a message comes on to say "I'm sorry the person you have called has not set up a voicemail. Goddbye."  I wasnt these calls to stop!

caller called my home # and left a message on voicemail-saying he had been three years of living on the streets and he was tired of it and was'nt doing it anymore and if he had to he would get a ****gun and take care of it. he had only two dollars in his pocket and living in poverty was'nt cutting it. and so****ing about a bank or so****ing of the sort. tried to call number back and stated voicemail box was not set up. dont know if this was a threat to me or if he was talking to someone else. could hear other people in the background. reported it to local police.

Didn't pick up - google says it's Des Moines, Iowa. They didn't leave a message. Just now realized they were a nuisance adter looking around. This wasa the 1st and, hopefully, last call from them. Though - I kinda doubt it.

This number ***g up on my answering ma****e.

He asks for us by name on the ma****e.

Said he was from the police department and asked for my parents. Then ***g up after I said they weren't available.We tried calling back and the voicemail box was not set up.

I got a call from this number this morning.Said to wait for next available agent and then disconnected.

He said he was from the policeman's****ociation, and wanted to thank my husband for his donation last year.  That was it - he didn't try to get any money out of me.  Wonder if they're just trying to verify names and numbers for their next campaign?  (I'm guessing this is a telemarketing company that's representing different charities.  In those cases, the telemarketing companies can often make more money than the charities!)

recieve calls with know one at the other end.just **** ups. when I call back I recieve a busy signal.

I have gotten two calls. One last Friday and one today.  Won't leave a message.

This call has come through several times now. Oddly enough, it's ALWAYS right after one of those 800 numbers i don't answer comes through. Example... 800 # rings in... I don't answer. Phone stops ringing. Less than 5 minutes later phone rings a***n with 515-868-5012 WIRELESS CALLER on ID. I have answered twice, and each time there is a different person on the line. Telemarketer or Bill Collector, i just haven't figured out which.

Caller identified himself as being from Handicapped Children's Organization.  ***g up before I could finish my sentence.
