SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!! Rec'd text yes****ay at approximately 5:40PM advising "Your ATM card balance fell to $-50.00 on 6/27/13 at 5:33PM. contact us to verify this activity 1-516-279-5258" I suspected text was a scam, as I pretty much my bank balance. Once home, I accessed my bank account and my money was "safe". How ****** do they think we are? Perhaps it s Phising scam, or once you've dial the number they'll request your banking information. Either way I am not calling. Will report this to the FTC. Isn't there a Do Not Call for cell phones?

Got the same thing as everyone else in regards to to my atm balance. What are they trying to accomplish...

Just got a text: "Your ATM card balance fell to $-50.00 on 06/27/2013 at 5:33 PM. contact us to verify this activity 1-516-279-5258" Ummm, it's only 11am, how is my bank account in the negative today at 5:30? lol. Check my account just in case -- all is fine.

Got a text saying: Your atm card balance fell to -150.00$ on 06/27/2013.Contact us immediately to verify this activity 1-786-888-1179 SPAM/PHISHING!

Text said I had a -$150 balance and to call 786-888-1179 immediately. Researched the number and found DSL Internet Company and a notice. http://transition.fcc.gov/eb/Orders/2004/DA-04-390A1.html

Regarding my ATM card. Interesting. I don't have an ATM card.

I received a text stating: "Your ATM card balance fell to $-50.00 on 06/27/2013 at 5:33 PM. contact us to verify this activity 1-516-279-5258" What ever you do, do NOT call this number. These guys a phishing for your bank information. This is not spam, this is blatant attempting to defraud. How in the***** is it legal to do this? The people that register these phone numbers (to obviously conduct fraudulent activities) should be prosecuted. I hope whomever is involved dies a slow painful/agonizing *****.

Text to call due to debit card balance too low and to call this number; do not have text alerts set up through our bank so know this is a fraud.

Message reads: "Your ATM card debit has been put on hold. Call operator center: 1-516-279-5258 this message contains confidential information and is intended for the [remainder of text blank]" Received June 26, @ 4:24 pm Pacific I did not call back, went to my ATM ma****e and checked my account which was fine.

Received a text that ATM balance had fallen to -$50 and to call them. I checked my bank account and it was fine, and I am looking for a place to report spam text with intent to defraud.....will report these crooks because they are probably finding victims a**** aged and/or uninformed.

I don't even have an ATM card LOL don't fall for this SCAM

I received a text message saying that my debit card had been locked and gave this phone number. When I called this number, the beginning of the message was garbled but they wanted our card # to unlock the debit card. Did not give out any information and ***g up on them.

Received a text from this number claiming it was from "F.C.U." and that my ATM debit card had been flagged and to call this number. Not happening - don't have a debit card with any "F.C.U." and sure not gonna call unknown spammer!
