Leave a CommentExactly the same thing happened to me.... Strange
They've been calling looking for our CEO. The guy told me to go F myself, so I found their # and spent the day calling them harassing them. Pretty funny.
Called and asked for owners cell phone number "a***n". Explained that I haven't talked to him and never gave him the owners cell phone number. Said he is paving the owners driveway and needs his number. When he realized he wasn't going to get it he ***g up. caller ID says Buglisi and****ociates. When I called the number back a company called Rockwell Global Capital answers.
Asked for our owner. Said he was "Mike Serato" I asked if there was a company name he was calling with? Said 'He Knows Me". Paged our owner and he had no clue who that was. Offered to take a message for "Mike" at which time he asked for the Owners cell phone number. I said I didn't have it to give. At this time he ***g up on me.
BEWARE***** Someone from (516) 342-2020 called and pretended to be a friend of our CEO. He asked our receptionist to "give him [insert CEO's name]'s cell phone number a***n". The caller knew our CEO's name. When the receptionist transferred the call to me, I was on the line and unavailable to take the call. The caller called back and yelled at our receptionist and demanded she give him our CEO's cell phone number. Obviously she did not, and he ***g up while she attempted to reach me. Believe me, if the caller had gotten through to our CEO, he would NEVER do business with a person and/or company that would be rude to his employees and lied to get to him. So keep trying Point Capital...
Caller said his name was "Nick Linguisi" from "Point Capital". He verified my name (he knew it), and I said "yes, that's me"... at which point the caller ***g up.Not sure what this was (am I going to be on more lists now?!?) - but a bit weird. Phone number lookup placed the phone in Hicksville, NY.
