scam; run away!

An unidentified woman on the phone asked to speak with my boss who was out of the office. I offered to take her name and number but did not give it to me. She asked for my boss' cell phone number, and claimed that she lost her cell phone and was just trying to get some of her old numbers back. I respectfully declined.

Caller ID shows this number on my personal cell, calls come in while at work, leaves no message.  I have no idea who this is.
