Like Becky, I just received a text : [email protected] (NOTICE) call 1(516)453-0402 DIRECT EXPRESS It didn't seem right... so I googled it and found all these other comments.. Glad I didn't call.

You can forward the text to 7726 (SPAM) to report it. Then Verizon sends a free text to you asking for the number, just reply with the email address it's coming from, then they respond a***n with a free message telling you how to block the sender.

I received this today, it is coming from [email protected], meaning they used Verizon's site to send me an anonymous text. Not much I can do, but just wanted to confirm what everyone else is saying. Text said: [A L E R T] Call 1.5164530420 A R I Z O N A F C U

I just received a text that said (ALERT) Call 1.516.4530420. ACHIEVE. I shouldn't even be receiving these texts as supposedly Verizon has blocked them. I'm also on the do not call list, though I don' t know if that makes a difference

Got a text from them with the following signature: A R I Z O N A F C U. Texted them I would be reporting them to the Arizona Attorney General's Office and then blocked the phone number. Total scam.

I received a text message exactly like everyone else has reported. It seemed su****ious, so I Googled it. Yep, definitely SPAM!

Called AZFCU they are working on this and posted the following on their website https://www.azfcu.org Below is the posting Phishing Text MessageA number of members have reported receiving a text message claiming that their card has been deactivated and giving them a number to call. THIS TEXT IS AN ATTEMEPTED SCAM! The credit union does not communicate about such things via text, and will never ask you for your PIN if we contact you. I received a Text : (ALERT) Call 1.516.453.0420 ARIZONA FCU. I googled it and saw this info.... I texted my husband told him it was a scam, just in case he received one too and texted them back: "SCAM, you are being reported and investigated" and I received a post_master@ message "RE: Error: Invalid user address Error Message: 550-Requested action not taken no such user here" along with my message and with message details, subject, sent date, etc.

Both my husband and I got the text message at the same time. What kind of idiots do they think people are? Total SPAMMER

Same here. Called the number, no identification, just said that my debit card had been held, and that I needed to enter the 16 digit number..... Now why would a random person want the 16 digit number to my bank account if it was not a SCAM!!!!!

Got a text message Sunday and today to call this number ArizonaFCU; definitely a scam! noticed how when calling the number it does not say "which" credit union or bank it is.

both my husband and I received text messages from the # 516.453.0420 with the words (ALERT) Call 1.516.453.0420 ARIZONA FCU We have no accounts with Arizona FCU. I believe this is a SCAM!

I recieved a text and email from this number, asking me to enter my bank info. I did not and called my bank. They said it was scam/fraud. Do not enter info, and call your bank to let them know.

New one from [email protected] to call same NY phone number below for "SmiOne" (prepaid Visa). We don't have debit or prepaid cc, so at least they didn't match me to my actual bank or cc company. They need to be shut down, but then they would just use a different number. S***bags.

Received the same text as reported by others. Interesting that it was received shortly after I used an ATM in Union Station in Washington, DC.

I got a text from [email protected] prompting me to call this exact number 516-453-0420, the message read "(N O T I C E) Call 516.453.0420 F C.U. Arizona. There was an automated recording (woman's voice) telling me my limit on my debit card was accidentally lowered and to enter my card number to have it corrected. I didn't enter my card number as I have Chase and not a credit union, I get alerts on my Chase Ap, never in a text like this. So I called Chase, they said nothing was wrong with my Debit card. DO NOT ENTER YOUR DEBIT OR PIN in response to this message, it's a scam!!

We/ the wife got one, actually two awhile ago. I so hate these people that pull these things off. I'd hate to see the people that actually get ****ed or in this case get their bank acct. ****ed dry.

English may not be their primary language since they have the Arizona at the end instead of the beginning, representing to be AZFedCreditUnion. She received after closing time for AZFCU. Obviously didn't call them since they are most likely in Nigeria.

This call is a scam to obtain credit card number and pin. They will tell you your card has been disabled and then you are asked to enter all your information, including your pin. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO.

Just got a text from this #. I am in AZ, but do not have an accnt with a credit union. I looked it up and it brought me to this site. I appreciate others putting the info up. Anyone who asks for your card # is a scam. I hope everyone who gets this knows that. :)

Both my husband and I got a text from this number at the same time asking to call this number. Text was sent via vtext which is through Verizon. Just an additional thing to despise this company and third party information.

Looks like a scam!!! Listed the fake mnumonics for a bank in AZ. Husband and myself BOTH got spammed today.

I just got a text from (516) 453-0420 and did a blocked call-back to the number. It is an automated fake Banking service, claiming I was overdrawn. (which btw, I am not). It is a 100% telemarketing spam.
