I received about 6 calls in a row from this number. I'd try to answer one and then the same number would show up as a call-waiting. Finally I answered with my department name, not MY NAME (yes he was calling me at work!) very thick Indian accent - said he was looking for an employee and then he spelled out my name.  I said I'd take a message. He said his name was John Smith (yea right) and repeated his number and told me to indicate it was important.  He then VOLUNTEERED the information that he was calling from 'Brooklyn County Court'.  Unfortunately I have no mechanism to block numbers at work.  Will this scam never end?

I keep on getting calls from this number telling me that I owe money in which is not true and even calling my job and it's embarrassing. How do you stop these people from calling me? It was a huge mistake when I applied for internet loans in which nothing happened to my application and I didn't get anything from those so called lenders.

They called my cell 6 times in 5 minutes. When I answered "This better be a f-cking emergency!" They cussed back at me and said that it is a f-cking emergency. that a friend of mine had an arrest warrant out for internet fraud and that they used my name and phone number as a reference, so if they couldn't resolve it with her they'd send the police to my door to arrest me. They never even verified who they were talking too. they just verified that I knew the person. They wanted me to relay a message to her but never gave me the message. Barely spoke English and got very irate when I asked for an English speaking person that I could understand. I have no idea if this is a scam or fraud. The person that they were calling about denies doing anything wrong but didn't seem surprised that I called her about it.

An east Indian person and also a supervisor with the same dialect and ethnicy accused me of internet fraud and wanted my attorney's name etc.  I told them when I was served with papers I would then contact an attorney and then only.  It seems they have the right social but a letter to Payday Loans says they never provided this to them nor have I ever had a loan with them.  They state it is a scam also.

This guy called me claiming to be david cook an atorrny and said I did four crimes and I would receive paperwork on Friday. He asked if I had a lawyer and I told him I was a lawyer and he ***g up. I called back and the other who answered said that it was he personal cell number abd that I should stop wasting his time and get a job and make money

Got a call from a guy named tony.  He said I was in trouble for check fraud and that either I or my attorney needed to call him back ASAP.  i spoke to my attorney he said that it is not a legal when I asked the guy to send me a letter stating the crimes he stated that he couldn't send me a letter.  I hate people like this...I have been taken once before and I am not going to be taken a***n.  How do people continually get away with this?

I just got a call from someone at 5165156564 name Paul White saying that I am being charged with four crimes. One was internet fraud, another was violation of federal so****ing and the others I could not understand. He claimed that his job was to contact me to verify information, I did not give him any info but he had all of mine. He said that the Cash Advance lost money on me and that they were charging me for it. I have not received any money from any Cash Advance and that I had back accounts to prove it. He claim he was just do his job and they would mail all the info to me. He asked if I had a lawyer and I said yes as a matter of fact my boyfriend is a lawyer and he ask if he was civil? I stated no he was a crimial attorney but that my best friend is a civil attorney. He then stated that I would receive information in the mail and that they would be able to explain what everything is for me. He even came me a case number NY-654287. Oh I cant wait to have a field day with this people!!  I have already transfered my money into another account so just incase they wont get anything. And I have awesome identify theft protection on my credit.
