Left intimidating messages implying there will be negative consequences if we don't call within 48 hours or sometimes if we don't call by 9PM. They never stated who they want to reach, or even identify what company or business they might have with us, beyond saying that this is Mr Karesh's (sp) office. At one point they identified themselves as Mitchell and Karesh and I called back this number to confirm that's who they are. They have left messages for us to call back 800-824-6191 and 516-915-5209. One of those numbers is****ociated with Global Credit and Collection and the other is First National Collection Bureau, Inc.This number has left intimidating messages implying there will be negative consequences if we don't call within 48 hours or sometimes if we don't call by 9PM. Neither of us at our number has any debt--I even checked my credit report to be sure. They may be chasing someone else--we're listed and have a common last name. I refuse to deal with them at all though given what I've read about the illegal practices, including iden***y theft these companies engaged in and their deceptive and intimidating tactics. Instead, as a NYC resident, I've reported them to the NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs, the New York Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission. I suggest you do the same.

They call my home and cell back to back several times a day. The only msg I get is "...for your convenience , thank you" that's it! What's funny is that I did not s**** receiving strange calls until I registered on the Do Not Call list. hmmmm

Comes unknown and just leaves a recording so you can't tell them to leave you alone! Why do they keep calling if I am on a do no call list!Its so frustrating. There are some numbers others too but this was the lastest--3 minutes ago!

Appears as a missed call on my phone at work.

The number consistently shows up on my Caller ID on my cell phone.  I have a rule that I do not return calls unless someone leaves me a message and I never get a message.
