Leave a Comment(516) 882-5364 “Joe Mackall” Claimed they help provide up to date training for law enforcement as well as benefits and financial****istance to families of these fallen member officers. The New York police do not solicit funds via telemarketing. Would not spell last name, would not give address, would not give position, could not tell me if I had a male or female voice. www.nycpolicefoundation.org/about-us/telemarketing-awareness/ Fill in and mail a complaint form to: http://www.ag.ny.gov/sites/default/files/pdfs/complaints/comp_char.pdf
Claimed to be raising money for Police training and for our fallen Police. The local Police are trained in the Police acadamy which is funded through tax dollars, after working in the Police department for years I consider this a blatent scam. They called at about 5:35 on a Sa****ay evening.
Spam and donation call ignore do not answer also they pass on number for $$$ to others if you answer.
Fake police scam do not give money to them they are in no way affiliated with your local police
I got this call and gave a small donation before I checked the internet. First he said they would not ask for money over the phone but when he "transferred" me the woman asked. I fell for it thinking I was doing a good thing. As soon as I ***g up I checked on line and called my credit card and cancelled my card . Very slick people using police veterans as a scam.
