Instead of just ignoring this time, I told the stunned person on the other end of the line to kindly stop calling this number and that this was about the tenth time. Silence. I ***g up.

Called me just now --- I picked it up and gave him an earful! Told him to take me off the list or face the consequences. His reply? A stunned "Certainly..." score one for the spammed!!

Day after day, they nuisance call my cell phone. I will try to have them remove the number AND I am reporting them to the FTC. *******s.

I just called 517-332-1500 and spoke to a very nice man who offered (even before I asked) to take me off their phone list.  He explained that the reason they don't leave messages is that they are exclusively an outbound call center, and there is no one to take inbound calls.  My advice is to call 517-332-1500 and ask to be taken off the list.  And yes, my local PBS station is on the DEI list.  You can be sure I'm going to have it out with them about that.

I just left a message at this number, instructing them to stop making annoying calls where the caller doesn't leave a message, and that if PBS is one of the non-profits they fund raise for, I will CANCEL my subscription to PBS if I get any more phone calls from this number.  Now let's see what happens...

I am going to call them right now.  Actually, I signed up to be on the govt. do-not-call list, but don't appear to be.  If this company works for PBS, I will also cancel my subscribtion to PBS.  That should send a clear message not to have annoying callers not even leave messages.

I have received several phone calls daily for approx. 2 weeks.  The phone calls are made at various times of the day and evening.  The caller has never left a message for me.  How can I remove my phone number from this data base?

If you don't answer, they keep calling. If you call the number back, there is a pre-recorded message that states that because of the nature of their call they are exempt from the "do not call"rules.

Have no idea who this is but constantly calls my number...will stop after a few days, but then begins a***n! AUGH!!!

After several calls from this number, many of them abandoned (due, no doubt, to setting their predictive dialer too aggressively) I finally answered a call which had a live rep on the other end.  She mispronounced my name, first, and out of irritation, I ask "WHY?" she wanted to talk with me.  She ***g up.  The second time I was reached by a live rep, this character treated me like we were old friends, and went on-and-on about how much he appreciated my support, then immediately segueing into how important it was to continue my support at the $250 to $120/year level (first of all, having done this sort of work, you don't do your first ask with an immediate drop, if you want the big bucks).  When I said that we're not in a position to donate right now, his next proposal was to "put me down for the standard ******sic membership...this way, we'll take you off the calling list."  "Well," I said, "that's not the only way I can get off this list.  I can simply tell you not to call me any more, can't I?"He agreed."Let's do that..." I said.  We'll see if they call a***n.

This is a company with the national fundraising contract for PBS (Public Broadcasting System) stations. If you gave to your local PBS then your name and phone number got passed on to this org and they are calling to get more money from you. Tell them to STOP calling and let them know if your number is on the national DO NOT CALL list.

Just today, Sa****ay, May 1st, I have received 6 phone calls from Phone Bank System.  And this has been a daily occurance for the past month - this year alone.  I would gladly have my gas and electricity turned off before discountinuing my $10 a month caller ID.  You would think that after 50 or 60 calls to my home phone they would get that I am not picking up.

They keep calling my parents house at a number I haven't been at for 8 years and wont say who they are or what they want.

I emailed as well and got the same repsonse.  I actually did answer the number one last time yes****ay and got one of the pushiest telemarketers I have ever encountered telling me my public television membership expired and demanded to know how much I would give as a renewal.  So, I emailed the public television station and complained to them as well (and told them I was seriously considering NOT donating anymore after the treatment I received from their telemarketers).  They have taken me off their list and the public TV station has contacted the Phone Bank Systems president as well.Please, everyone, keep sending emails and make sure to find out who they are calling for and complain to the non-profit as well.  This is the only way to stop this!

I have been getting calls from this number for the past several weeks.  I am handicapped so it is really irritating to get up to answer the phone, only to have either no one there or have them **** up on me.  I sent Sara Shaw an email and told her to stop or I was going to report them to the phone company as a nuisance call.  I added a few other phrases I will not repeat that will definitely make them see I mean business.  These people are idiots.

Thanks to w***ver submitted the emails.  I have asked them to take my phone number off their lists and to confirm to me they have done so otherwise I will report their practices to the Better Business Bureau and to the State of Michigan Attorney Generals' office.  What they are doing is a form of harrassment and definitely bad business practices.  I get calls from them almost daily and sometimes at 2-3 times in one day.  And like others, no one ever answers.

Getting a call from this number every day around 4:00 CST.  No one ever replies when I answer.

I have gotten several of these calls over the years (2004-to current date)always with the same results - ****ups and refusing to talk to ma****e or ME!!!!  Is this someone stalking?

It's extremely annoying when I get a call from this company because, when they call me, I am more than likely eating or wat****g TV.  The **** phone rings in the middle of a program I am intently wat****g, my answering ma****e picks up, and they **** up.  This leaves my answering ma****e to continue on answering the call.  After the beep, all I hear is the monotonous dial tone.  My ma****e continues recording the dial tone, and the voice that says, "Please **** up and try your call a***n.  If you need****istance, dial your operator.  Please **** up now...  This is a recording," unless I get up, pick up the phone and **** it up.

Send them as many emails as you can.  The other thing you can do is when they call pick up the phone and just push the numbers on your phone pad.  Sometimes this works as their computer cannot tell the difference between a phone and a fax so it will take your number off of the call list thinking it is a fax.

These people call EVERY DAY and **** up on my ma****e.  Seriously, it's getting so annoying.  I believe they call from 2 different numbers.
