Got the same message on my cell phone - number comes back to a Rachel Sinclair    CLIFFORD STLANSING, MI 48912 - so yeah I'd say its a scam

called and said it was Rick and he was getting back with us about low credit card rates. Push 1 to talk to him now. ON MY CELL PHONE!!!!

Do not do business with people who are so shady that they can't even take you off their list or give you their real number to call them back. I'm sick of these cowards.

Calling cellphones with a "message" about a credit card rate reduction plan. The message makes it sound like they are calling you back, but they are trying trying to get you to their operators. If you complain or ask to be put on do not call list, they will just **** up.

Much the same for me. They professed to be calling me back to help on lower interest. "Last courtesy call" they will be making...one can only hope!

same thing. some chic said we spoke last week - and when I tried to speak directly to her, she didn't stop speaking and continued with her message.

Everytime they call, it's in spanish....I just don't answer anymore!

i called the 888 number, and got a woman. i asked her what kind of scam she was running, and that i was going to turn the 2 numbers over to the washington state attorney general. she immediately ***g up on me. definately a scam.

Got a call seven minutes ago in Illinois on my cell.  I hit ingore because I did not recognize the #.  They did not leave a message.

I'm in Cali. They called my cell. Actually Google voice #. Are they just random dialing coz no one has this number.

Called my cell, got the recorded message as above. Didn't listen long enough to hear what they were calling about. Aren't unsolicited calls to cell phones illegal? I'm checking into that as soon as I hit "Submit"!

I typically don't answer calls from numbers i don't recognize . . . A girl left a voicemail about us speaking earlier about my credit card debt.  I don't have any!  hahahaSounds scammish to me . . . I'm in Utah.

just got the call 2 minutes ago on my cell, picked up same voice recorded message.

Just got call 5 minutes ago. An actual person left long drawn out message about some supposed previous conversation we had regarding lowering my monthly payments. Left phone of 1-888-842-0668 and that would be the last courtesy call she will be making to me.

just got a phone call, glad I looked up the number first. I hate those things. I'm in vt. wonder what state is next...

got the same BS message from this 517-372-1113 at 3:20PM today (4/14/2010)

Got a message that sounded like it was cut off, so it was probably a recording.  The caller ID came up with 517-372-1113 but the message said to call back at: 1-888-442-0668.  It was a message about lower interest rates.  I looked up the 888 number and it looks like it's a scam.

Ditto.  Called my cell!   *******s!

I just got the same phone call regarding a credit card interest rate or so****ing like that. We just got this phone and it is unlisted. So frustrating!!

Got the same phone call this morning. They have called a few times, but the operator says the phone is disconnected. They don't have the ***** to give people their real number.

RECORDING from "Rick Johnson" regarding a credit card program - Says so****ing to the effect of "Sorry, guys, for getting back with you late about the information you'd requested on that credit card program."  Press 1 for more info! I waited and waited on the line, but didn't get an opt-out option (i.e. press 2). I tried to call back the number from caller ID (unknown name @ 517-372-1113) and it said that the number I reached was disconnected or no longer in service (Weird, considering that I called it RIGHT BACK!) URG! This is such shady ****. SHADY SHADY SHADY. How am I supposed to track them down to report them???

Message cut in about some payment plan?  Don't know who this is.
