This number shows up on my cell phone as a missed call. They don't leave a message. Since it's my cell phone, it ends up costing me. I want them to stop.

My phone rings every evening between 7:00 and 9:00 and it is from this number that I do not recognize. They leave no voicemail. I do not answer calls that I do not recognize and would like the calls to stop.

Got calls from this company saying they were federal officers investigating a fraud.  When I did a reverse phone screen they came up.  Isn't it a***nst the law to represent yourself as a federal officer?

Yeah it's Time Warner Cable, usually wanting you to sign up for home phone or cable, or whatever service of theirs you don't have yet.  I tried to explain to them that I don't need another phone, since I already have a cell (the one they had just called me on), yet they don't seem to get the hint.  Just ignore it, they'll give up after a few days.

For several days as of Aug. 27th 2009 I've received up to 3 calls a day from this number, which I understand is Time-Warner Cable wanting me to sign up for their phone service.  I am in the do not call registry, from which Time-Warner is apparently exempt.

it is time warner cable.  They called the other night at 9 pm as a "courtesy call" to make sure I was satisfied with my service.  Since I said yes, I am confused why they keep calling.  I will be calling them later and asking them to cease and desist!!  Or I will cancel all my services with them.  Hope that does the trick.

Repeated calls from Time-Warner Cable wanting me to sign up for their phone service. I have told them to leave me alone, to no avail. Half of the calls are just breathing sounds.I finally emailed them (just now).

Recieved the call once every other day for the past two days. The last call I didn't hear anything but rustling for 11 seconds. No one spoke, then ***g up. Weird...

looked up number on my computer(reverse search)and found it to be Acc National Telecom Corp.

...I just got a call from 413-225-9898 which is the same company.  I did the same thing... reverse lookup and the name of the company is ACC National Telecom Corporation.  What made me su****ious was the voice on the other end s****ed speaking Spanish so I just ***g up.  I received an e-mail several weeks ago about a telephone number that calls and charges you some crazy amount for a long distance call ... so, I wanted to make find out where the call originated from.The call came in on my Verizon cell phone.

i just recieved a call from****-406-3141 and it also was the acc telecom national telecom corp i did a reverse as well and it said they were located in boston mass tried callin back said call could not be completed as dialed

Caller called & then **** up,my number is registered with the national do not call registry

i received an email with their telephone number regarding my credit card acct, but i know it was bogus. i t even said they were located in CA, but when i did a reverse lookup on the number, it was from NY

The same thing happened to me.   Time Warner's marketing dept was calling me every 1/2 hour.  I had to block their number.  Finally I wrote them and toldthem to stop their harrassment or I will forward their calls to the local police.  I received an e-mail saying they would move my name / number to ado not call list.   We'll see.

I sent a very nasty email to my local Time Warner office. In essence, I told them that if the phone calls did not stop, I would be cancelling my cable television service and reporting them to the BBB, Attorney General, and Public Service Commission. I demanded that my name be removed from all of their calling lists IMMEDIATELY. I received a reply back the next day from someone in TW Customer Service indicating that my name was being moved to a Do Not Call list and it should take effect within 5 business days.If you are getting these constant calls like me, just do as I did. Obviously, I got their attention.

I just did a reverse phone number lookup on Verizon and this phone number belongs to ACC National Telecom Corporation based in Albany, NY.
