Fake payment scam

I called Discover's 800 number. They checked and said 518-282-***2 is a valid Discover marketing number and connected me with a person at the 518 number. I complained to both people (at 800 & 518) about not leaving messages and having the ID as "Hampton, NY". I said the ID should say "Discover" and a message should be left if no one answers. I also complained about the multiple calls each day at all different hours. The 518 representative said he'd remove my number from the calling list. The representative at the 800 number said she would register my complaint with Discover corporate. We'll see what happens.

As others have noted, these callers claim to be with Discover card. Most annoying. Any way to get them to stop? I'm already registered with Do Not Call.

no one speakes ,leaves no message. call 2 to 3 times dailey including Sa****ays

THis Number called me and said they were with Discover and wanted to cash in my bonus awards towards my balalnce and lower my APR. They would not tell me where they were calling from and the discover fraud department called and said they have no outbound companies to lower APR's. I BELIEVE THIS IS ANOTHER SCAM

girl said she was from discover ...laughing and said do i have the right number...

I answer the phone and no one acknowledges. The call continues to come from the same number with no acknowlegements
