Michael Anderson called me and told me I had won the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes of $1.5M plus $5,000 per week for life. He said I needed to go to Walgreen's and get a Vanilla Gift Card for $500 first as a "Claims Card" and bring it back and give him the number. and that the Prize Patrol would be out to my house the next day to deliver my prize. The next day he called to say that AZ did not recognize this type of prize winning, so they would have to complete some sort of do***entations that I would have to take to the bank that would cost $6,000 but that since I was in such "good standing", I would only need to pay $3,000 for this do***entation. I said I would do it only if I could make out the Cashier's Check to the State of Arizona, but he said it had to go to the Publisher's Clearing House CPA, a Maria Valencia in San Anselmo, CA. At that time, I hesitated so much that he put his "Manager" on the line -- Mr. Raymond Mendoza. He****ured me this process would take only a day or so after the CPA receives the Cashier's Check via Express FedEx and it took him about six hours of harranging on the phone to convince me he was on the up and up and that I would get this money back. I was foolish and did it and then he wanted to know the tracking no. of the FedEx package. That was yes****ay afternoon -- THEN I decided to check the internet to see if Publisher's Clearing House was on the up and up and learned of the many scammers who use their company to excise money from people. I don't suppose I will ever hear from them a***n. I am going to report this phone no., and now the name of this company to Publisher's Clearing House and the FCC. What a fool I am!!!!
