Scam. Fake. Theses type of calls are getting out of hand

Keep calling about outstanding warrants. What a crock of ****.

Robocall states: “Custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss…”

I received two calls about two hours apart this morning; one was early enough that it woke me up. As mentioned by an earlier commenter, they threaten that the police is coming to pick you up for outstanding warrants. (I did not answer the call, but they left a voice mail each time.) Unfortunately, the DO NOT CALL list is worthless for stopping these kinds of calls.

Fake IRS

This is a spam number. One of those where they threaten that the police is coming to pick you up for outstanding warrants. They actually called twice and left messages that this was my last chance to call them about outstanding warrants that were totally bogus. I knew there were no warrants a***nst me for anything, so I didn't even bother to return the call. It's a shame that elderly people who get these calls and actually believe these scammers and give them their checking account or credit card information. These people should be arrested!
