I just received 7 phone calls from this guy in the last 20 minutes on my office phone. I finally spoke to the guy and let him do his speal. He said his name was David Jones with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Weird considering he had a really thick Indian accent. He claimed that I owed money to Cash Advance USA and what did I want to do about it. I had to keep myself from laughing. I told him I did not take a cash advance. He then rattle off my social security number, but not the whole number, andasked me if that was my social. I told him no. He then rattled of my email address and asked me if that was my email address. I a***n told him no. Surprisingly he then told me ok since that was not my social he woul block my social from the list and ***g up on me. He hasnt called back.

I received a call from this number: 518-649-8082. They call my work number, and my cell phone. He claims to be Officer Cooper on my work number, and Officer White on my cell phone number. I have no idea what he is saying- very poor engli***He claims I owe money and if I don't call back before so****ing happens to me then I will be in trouble.He also says he has my address (which he reads off) and then he says he has my ss# (which he only and always reads off only the last 4 digits). You can not talk to, or reason with these people. They are rude, dumb, and have no m****s at all.Why waste my time and say I am going to jail in 10 min or 2 hours when you are in one state and i am in another. HOW DO YOU STOP THESE CALLS? I have called the MSP and they say the best thing to do is to block the number from  your cell phone & and have your employer contact the phone company to block the number. I find that an AIR HORN works just as well & is much quicker too :)

This number keeps calling my mom's house and my cell phone saying I owe them money.  Tehy said the are Officer John Smith.

Been getting phone calls from this number...and finally answered today.  They have my SSN and place of employment.  They state I owe money to "Cash Advance" which I don't.  I need help in getting these people to stop.  They state that they will be calling my job.  The person's name that is calling is "John Smith", who has a thick foreign accent.  I told him to send me do***entation and that I knew he was a scam, and ***g up on him.  He called back and said he will he will have me arrested in 30 minutes....

This number has called me two different times and they left a voicemail both times. On both voicemails they tell me that they are with the department of bureau of criminal investigations. They also keep calling my job. In the voicemail they have stated that I can only help myself by returning the phone call. I told my mom about it and she finally looked it up on the internet only to find out it is a SCAM. The last voicemail I received the guy stated that his name was office Davey Jones. Yea right are you kidding me. Quite frankly Im EXTREMELY annoyed and perturbed about these people calling me. Is there any way that we can turn in the number to someone and have an investigation done? And I would also like to know what other information of mine that they have if they have my cell phone number and my work number. I want a way to stop all this harrassment immediately.

called my job and my mom and told them i was being investigated for criminal actions and being arrested in 24 hours they yell and swear at you but won't give you there name.

Yes these guys have been calling me for months trying to get money. First it was some promotional package and your supposed to get free gas cards. Next they said they got in trouble with the law and had to give out 250$ in gas cards instead of the normal 100$. They threaghten to debit money from my account whether I like it or not. Now they're calling my work and telling my human resources officer that im in big trouble. Well after six months of this ****, all I see are empty threaghts. These guys are Indian scammers and wont get a dime if you dont send it. The problem is getting them to stop calling.....

They will continue to harass and bother you. I tell them all the time this is a scam and how the heck do you have an american name but sound like your from india.??? They get made and try to yell at you, but I usually ***g up or don't answer.

They called my son's cell phone and left a message.. He doesnt even own a credit card.  They said this was for a PayDay account and threaten my wife.

I received a call today from this number stating that if I did not pay $898.39 for some $300.00 loan that I supposedly took out over the internet that I would be going to jail for a minimum of 3 years. I asked Ben White (with the "Bureau of Criminal Investigations") what this is in regards to and was told that it is for a loan that I took out "sometime" in 2010.  I asked him if he could give me the dates of this supposed loan and he said no he didn't have that information.  He s****ed yelling at me telling me "why are you questioning me when you are going to go to jail in 45 minutes if you do not pay the $898.39 that you owe?"  I told him he would just have to arrest me because I don't know anything about any loan, I have never taken out a loan on the internet.  But the do have my address, home phone number, social security number, and my work number.  I am worried that they may try to steal my iden***y.

they have tried to collect money from me and with threatening calls at my job site. I have asked them to quit calling my work but they still call.

917-522-0683 & 518-649-8082 are fraudulent officers/bill collectors. DO NOT send them money.
