Attempted to rent a home in Holbrook, NY, for $1200/mo that was under contract for the real owners of the home, they refused to show in the home in person, gave the email as [email protected], they refused to talk on the phone, total scam - do not send the money or personal information.

Saw a Craigslist post about a 2 br house for rent $1150 and they wanted a $50 application fee and $1150 deposit but refused to do the walk-through because of COVID. The same house is listed on Zillow for sale and has exactly the same pictures.

I saw the add in Craigslist for a rental home. I left my cell number and "Williams" texted me to say that it was available and pet friendly for $899/month. When I looked up the address it's listed for sale in Zillow etc. Total scam!

They attempted to rent a house in Cortland manor for 899 Wanted everything paid in cashapp and they got scared as i said i will hand them the security and rent in-person when they hand off the keys. They insisted on using cash app.

This mother***ker was trying to "rent" An apartment for $1050 then when I look up the address the house is for sale and looks nothing like the pictured he posted. A scam. Hope w***ver is reading this saves themselves the trouble

I had inquired about a home for rent and he texted me saying it's avail for cheap, pet friendly (like I asked online) and then when I looked it up, it's for sale and I doubt the rent would be this good that he quoted me.
