Also from St Louis! Got an automated call on Sat, Sept 19, said my credit card was temporarily deactivated, press 1, I did, asked for my cc#.  Then when got back to work on Monday, two other people from work had same incident happen to them, only no number showed up.  I don't know what time theirs happened, but theirs were in 5 minutes of each other!

Also from St Louis.  Same deal.  Obviously did not give them any information.  Seems to be some some phishing attempt.

Got a call from 518-684-6440.  Automated voice telling me my visa card account had been suspended, and that I should push "1" to reactivate it.  Since I did not initiate any call to any credit card issuer, I simple ***g up and then checked the phone number on-line.  I****ume the next step would have been to enter my card number and the security code.  Not born yes****ay.

got a call from this number on my cell telling me to call the fraud unit that my visa debit card had been disabled.  Didn't call back.  verified with bank that the card was fine.

Received a call from this number, also stating they were Vantage Credit Union and that my debit card had been temp. disabled. I had the option to speak to a rep, but had to enter my card # first. Had I been thinking, I would have entered a bogus number just to see what happened. I don't do business with Vantage. this is a very obvious phishing call and I'll report it to Vantage.

Got a call from this number, it was an automated prompt said they were "Vantage Credit Union" and my visa card was disabled.  It said to press one to talk to an operator, I did.  Then it asked for my 16 digit account number and I ***g up.  I know I do not have an accont with Vantage Credit Union.

someone call about activiting a credit card.  What company is this???
