518-218-5509  & 914-219-4113  - Caller stating he is with State Investgator - Officer Kevin is what he called his self. Try to tell me that I have an outstanding Loan, they are trying to collect the money. IF not they need my attorneys number. I will call my local police department to report the call.   I tried to get them to tell me there address and ask them why they have not mailed anything to me.  They would not answer the question.

My home telephone rang at 11:36 am, but I couldn't answer it before the ringing ceased.  I didn't recognize the number & there wasn't a voice mail.  Rather than return the call I searched the number & found this site. This is Fairpoint Communications in eastern upstate NY area.  I'm not returning the call after reading the experiences of the above.

Tried telling my mother they had money to give me and get access to my bank account.

got the call a bunch of times but missed it, went to voicemail leaving a ringing like im dialing someone.i decide to pick it up and all i heard was like i dialed someone, a girl pickedup, i ***gup.very strange.

Calls all the time.  Sometimes my family in Oneonta comes in as this number but I can't hear them and they can hear me.  Other time it just rings when I answer...SO BIZARRE!

rings in to my house, but I get dead air.  Both times calls are coming to me through Fairpoint Communications from a caller with Frontier Communications, both located in upstate NY.Caller says it goes straight to voicemail with no ringing on his end.When I tried to call back, it just rings.Had my phone company in on Sunday but they couldn't detect a problem.Wonder what THAT will cost me!!!

We saw all these comments and didn't want to answer. It rang four times at around 10:30 PM. When we finally did answer, it was a family member who is in India and was calling us. I have no idea why it came in on our own area code but must have so****ing to do with the way the foreign call was routed. Anyway, if you see this number and know someone overseas, it might be from them
