called cell phone did not answer no voice mail left

Got a call but didn't pick up... Tried callin back but it says # invalid

total BS scam.  Said I was a valued Ca***ian Tire customer and I won travel dollars.  If I ever catch the guy responsible for these ****** calls...

Called back and said not in service

I got the call on my cell too. I phoned it back because we have friends in the 519 area code and when the call went through it told me the # was not in service. Hmmm.

got the call but didn't answer on time, looked it up and found this site, very annoyed to learn what it really is.

I got one for Bell

they called me on my cell phone where i pay by the minute - no free minutes.They said so****ing about me being a valued Bell customer.  But my cell is not a Bell cell.

I got the same call, pressed 1 and then nothing happened. Is it possible that they scammed me from my phone bill account? Can they do this electronicaly if I pressed 1 and if so what can I do to fight it or make sure they didn't do it.EVERYONE on this thread who pressed 1 should want to know this.

I was just called from this number.  The voice said "as a valued fido customer you get $3000 travel dollars." and asked to press 1 to accept.  Fido was*****ounced as "fee-dough". I ***g up.

Didn't answer, though Im glad I looked online before trying to call back. Its an ontario number SKETCH.

Same with "Valued Rogers Customer".  Sounds like a scam!  I wanted to see if I can string them along, so I pressed 1.  They then asked me if I'm over a certain age and have a credit card, said yes, then put me on hold for 5 minutes.  I ***g up.

Got a message from Telus saying I wont 3000 travel dollars. I am not a Telus customer. This is more than likely a toll call scam. Don't hit any numbers.

first thing in the morning,some idiot ate there Wheaties,waste of my time.

Got a call from this number, recorded message saying "congrat ... I won ... so****ing..."  ***g up totally annoyed that they were wasting my air time - call came in on my cell.Totally ****ed me off.

I got one for "Rogers"; I pressed 1 to continue but didn't feel like burning airtime for more than 30 seconds so I ***g up.   I got one of these last week from the 403 number too, same scam.

07/09/10 at 17:20 MDT got a call from that number.  Didn't pick up.

Picked up - said "as a valued rogers customer you get $3000 travel dollars"...  Googled and found other reporting "as a valued TELUS customer"...
