I live in Chatham, On which is where everyone is receiving these calls from. It's a call center called Millenium that try and collect donations, but collect more than 70% commission from the donation. So it's pretty much a scam. They use charities such as firefighters, cops, kids safety, etc.If you do want to donate to these charities, do it through them directly. Never over the phone.

I'm on the do not call list but I think they are exempt. I have asked them nicely not to call anymore - that actually seemed to make them call more.I made it **** for them to call, called them things I wouldn't call a dog - now they call several times a day and **** up if I answer.

No one answer when I picked up the call.

This "unknown name" number has called me several times over the past couple of days and at different times. I finally called the number back today and got some answering message saying it was a charity call and asked what state I was calling from?????? I thought this was a Ca***ian number? After reading the comments here, I will continue to not answer the phone when this number shows up on call display. If they catch me on a bad day, I might just give them a piece of my mind...IF they speak at all according to some of your comments, and demand they take me off their list. Yes, I am on the DO NOT CALL list, but I think charities and political parties are exempt, which is why they are getting away with it.

Past couple of days have rec'd calls from this number. After answering & saying*****o a couple of times no one answers. Very annoying.

It's the Fire Chiefs****ociation looking for donations.  They call all the time.

Call on behalf of Fire Chiefs request a donation told them no call back next year...Also called 27 Feb 09

They call repeatedly.  I've now decided that I will never donate over the phone a***n.

"DO NOT CALL" list - how many of us signed up for this and it turned out to be a BIG JOKE. Same calls for "firefighters burn unit, Kids safety, and it goes on and on....Thanks for caller ID display. But it still disrupts our business hours to no end.

I get a call from this number about twice a day

Was a very attractive woman on the phone. asking me to donate monies to firefighters charity, I asked for the charity number ans she swore at me and ***g up. Must be a scam, and she was probably *** and hairy, mole covered and stinky!

They called. I and my son answered the phone. No response on the other end and then they **** up.

What is the point of registering for DNC when I get calls from this number evey day!

I get calls from this number every day, sometimes 3 times a day.  At first I would pick up and there was dead air and I knew I was on a rotary call.  I want this to STOP!!

Got a call almost every second day theys ask for the Donations???

Phone rings, as soon as you pick up, "they" **** up.."They" called couple of times, so far I never talked to somebody...

He said he was with the Alberta fire chiefs office and raising money for some Xmas charity called every night at 5 pm so i told him i was eating so they call in the am

I screen my calls but this number dials me daily.  In fact they called3 times while I was away and left no message, so I****ume it is oneof the telemarketer sweat shops.
