Got a call this morning from a guy trying to raise money for children's leukemia. I said I give to United Way, but he wouldn't take no for an answer. People have got to beware of this kind of call -- when a real charity calls, they are respectful and take no for an answer. Plus, it's never from a large call centre; I could hear a whole bunch of people in the background!

I just got a call from zentel calling to raise $195 for children's leukemia. I asked for the name of the charity he was calling for and he said "..uh.. it's for leukemia". At that point I said that I wasn't interested and ***g up. Seems like a hoax to me. I never pledge over the phone. I always go to the charity's website and donate online or send a cheque.

I just got a call from that guy but when I answered .. it was a voice message that was cut off after three words .. I did the *69 thing and bit the extra charge just to find out who was calling.  Too bad we couldn't complain and have this guys phone removed.

What a J*** OFF IDOIT!  You are a waste of good air, crawl in a hole and die.  What a waste of ****e you are.  I'd love to be the one that Gives you the SLAP UPSIDE your head you need... boys I'd enjoy that...  Don't you wish you could reach inside the phone and just slap him upside the head?  How I wish...  This Idiot said it had to do with raising funds for leukemia for a small child.  I told him I had no money twice and ***g up.

Called me early this morning and woke me up. I didn't answer, but just checked the number now.

Calls me too. Jim, Chris and others above seem to think that being on the Do Not Call list will stop these callers. Au contraire. The CTRC makes the entire contents of the Do Not Call list available to telemarketers (so they know what numbers they are not supposed to dial). But there is NOTHING to stop ******bag telemarketers from using the DNC list as as source of numbers to call.

This caller had better stop.  I have a sick person in my house and when this a** calls he wakes them.  Take his Muskoka Cottage and shove it up his a**.  Stay in the city.  We don't want you here.

Called me a***n today and being a Mom of two small children i didn't get to the phone in time. It only rang twice. I called the number back, which is long distance for me and got a voice recording, no option to be removed from their list. When they call a***n, because I'm sure they will. I will answer and if someone happens to be on the other end...I will make sure they do not call me a***n. I doubt they'll pay for my long distance charges to call them back.

Got a call today from this number, same result as above... no one on the line, I just ***g up.

This number shows up on my call display ~ every day for weeks.  When I am home, I answer it and there is no one there, then the call disconnects.  Other comments state it is a scam for leukemia?  Is this the same charity that operates out of a house in Niagara Falls?  And also declares it a charity for Children's arthritis?

Thay have called me today 5 times is there any way I can get the ploice involved on harrasment?

I got a call from this phone number.  It only came up as a long distance number on my caller ID, but I used *69 to retrieve this phone number.  Glad I never answered it.
