This kind of call was around 2 or 3 years ago as well. It was a man then. All with heavy accents.

I received a call at 10:32 PM. It was a woman. The call woke me up and I told her it was an illegal call at 11:30 at night (I thought that was the time). Her comment was "what do you mean, 11:30, don't you have a watch in you house in NY". I then ***g up the phone. Being on the national don't call list really does not work, because I get all those credit card calls as well. Now, I see this comes from Ca***a, so the don't call list may not apply anyway. Don't put any code in your computer, this is what they want, so they can download all your files and get any information you have stored. I very rarely buy anything on line, and refuse to do my banking or pay bills on line.

idiot woman with an indian accent calls me at 11:04 pm to talk about a computer i dont own! it comes from london ontario and they call back!

Indian accent, called at 10pm while my baby is sleeping and harrassing us.

Had the same interaction as Billie only i let them take control and play it out.. they installed a program onto my computer that shows up as Malware.. program name in folder is AA_v3.exe they then procceded to tell me that the situation was coming from the registration file of my computer and was sending them reports... he opened the command promt window and asked me to put my first and last name my email address and my credit card info.. i told him i would not put my card info in there he got really prosistant and began to threaten to shut down my computer from the microsoft network.. i ***g up and contacted microsoft to verify.. they are attempting to get person infor to steal your id.. next stop report to fbi..

Foreign speaking man called and said he was from Microsoft. He said I have a critical virus on my computer and he needed to take over remote access in order to get it off. I told him that I would contact Microsoft directly. He said, "Mam, I know your license agreement." then he proceeded to recite my address and then asked me to verify it. I said regardless if that is my address or not, you could get that info from the computer with just typing in my phone number. He was very persistent in me allowing him remote access to my computer. I ended the call by telling him that I would directly contact Microsoft. Note: this happened a short time after I UNINSTALLED Windows 10 from my computer. I don't know if there is a connection or not, but it is a coincidence if nothing else

Late night out of country call ..... didn't answer it as unknown number to me .....
