E-WHIMIS trying to sell you training

Relentless and rude. Don't get tricked by the "did you get our email".

Received Voicemail transfer from the Owner of the company I work for and sure enough it was from E WHIMIS. I called back like an idiot and the individual who initially called was not in so I left a message Today I receive a call from Anthony at E-WHIMIS 519-963-2069 telling me that our name was given to them from a Government Agency and that we were in violation of the law..  He asked how many employees we had and s****ed to quote pricing for on-line training. I told him that I would have to submit this this to our Health asnd Safety Committee for review.  Good thing I found this site!!

Yeah a lady from this company just called and said we were out of compliance if we didn't have training based on "Bill c45, regulation 860" and that she would send over an invoice for $38 which we had to pay to get access to their online training system. After the training we would do a test and get a fancy certificate. I asked her if she was the only trainer (she made it sound like they were) and she said no. I said is there not free tea****g material from the gov't on this? She said she didn't know (BS!) and that if there was it wouldn't come with a test and certificate.ANyway, I told her we would research this on our own and goodbye. They have a tidy little niche they are ****ering people under - that's for sure.

Every day they call asking for the owner of this business by first name only...every day they call during lunch...they're told the owner is out for lunch and can I take a message...they always say no they'll call back later...then they call back the next day ...during lunch....this has happened the exact same way at least 5 times...Relentless yes...but not too bright...

these guys are a company called ewhimis.they target businesses.  they tell you that you/your staff are not current on whimis training and try to sell you their online whimis training program. they are relentless the second you show any interest or curiosity.

I get a call from that number a lot at work.  I don't answer it.  I'm fairly certain it's a charity.
