Got a call from this number about 15 mins ago. They asked for me but they used a different last name that I rarely use and then they ***g up. Perhaps iden***y theft or for an stortion later on.
The lady "Brittany" stated she was from a Publishing company offering free gifts and prizes. She verified my name and address and when scheduling me for US Weekly and paying $3.95 I kindly requested she cancel. She then informed me that she would have to transfer me to her supervisor "Jess" and I explained the same to her. She asked a bunch of questions on why Brittany transferred me over to her and I stated I didn't know but I wanted to cancel whatever she put me down for and she ***g up on me. I immediately called backed and the same female answered and said that all individuals and Jess was busy and that I would receive a call later. As I was in the middle of explaining that no further calls would be needed, but that I would like to verify my information was cancelled, she ***g up on me. I have been trying to call back ever since and no one will pick up the phone to talk to me.

I MISSED A CALL FROM 520-722-1667 AND LOOKED IT UP ON WHITEPAGES.COM AND SAW IT BELONGED TO GIOVANNI MELENDEZ AT 7671 E Tanque Verde Rd Tucson, AZ 85715-3606.I CAQLLED THE NUMBER BACK AND IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO GET THROUGH BECAUSE IT WAS BUSY. WHEN I FINALLY GOT THROUGH A LADY SAID SHE WAS FROM SOME SWEEPSTAKES AND SHE GOT MY INFO FROM MY BANK. I SAID I DIDN'T BELIEVE HER BECAUSE I DID A REVERSE PHONE LOOK-UP AND IT WAS A RESIDENTIAL NUMBER. SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AND THAT SHE NEEDED MY NAME TO REMOVE ME FROM HER LIST. I TOLD HER I WOULD CONTACT MY BANK FIRST TO SEE IF SHE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH. SHE SAID WHATEVER LADY AND ***G UP.
Lady said... Good News I'm calling from Publishers' so****ingorother and you've been entered into a sweepestakes. I stopped her and said "this number is on the do not call list, please remove....click....my number from your database. I hope that the fact that these *****s try and **** up before you say "take my number off your list" doesn't give them that OUT of saying, "we were never informed they didn't want us calling!"
Lady said she was from a Publications Company. Said I was entered for a sweepStakes. She wanted to sell more magazines. Phone call was cut off. She had my cell number and my address. When I asked her how she got my name she said my credit card or bank entered me into this sweepstakes.
Lady called & I picked up asked for me & said you have have the wrong number. Then I called back private & when they picked up it sounded like it dialed a number & then I said*****o & they asked for someone named mark I asked who it was the said so****ing about a sweepstakes so I ***g up. I believe it could be a debt collector.
