Yup that'll get you added to a list ... but not like you think. Calling scammers back and "opting out" has just the opposite effect, so you shluld now expect to get even more junk phone calls from even more scammers.Never call scammers back. Never. Especially these filthy fake police charity scammers.

If you call the local number 829****9 the message states that you can call 1 800 3796196 for more information.  DO CALL that number, listen to the prompts and you will be able to add your home number to their do not call list.As a Tucson resident, I would like to see the local media investigate the percentage of each dollar contributed actually goes to the fire fighters.  No one will prevent you from donating money or goods to a local fire station.

Tucson Fire fighter****OC - we donated a couple years back and now they always call us. We politely tell them not to call but they do anyways. Gets annoying and turns us off from wanting to donate in the future.

Several calls a week. Seeming forever...Indeed, it is the Tucson Firefighters****oc. One would think that they would eventually understand how much they are PO'ing people, so much so that it chases more people away from ever wanting to donate...especially during tough times.

I got the same call, and I told them it was not me ! LOLI asked if I could take a message to see who it was and they said no.I called back and it was a fund raising company for the Tucson Fire fighter****OC.

Rang approx 4 times and ***g up

1-******9-9179 calls regularly to solicit funds. The answer has been "no", but the calls still keep coming.

We have repeatedly received these calls and have repeatedly asked them to take our name off their list!
