Just got a call on my cell. automated voice asking me to hit 1 if I wanted $2,000 off my next trip to ..... I could not make out the destination they were selling.
Got this call on black Friday. Didn't answer, they left no voice message.
Got the call, but didn't answer. This happens a lot, getting calls from unknowns, so I always ignore them, but I check them with Google, and sure enough, all of them have been scams. I'm guessing, but I think it's automated calling. S**** with an area code and prefix, then go 0001, 0002, 0003...up to 9999.Always let unknown numbers go unanswered, then google them. In one instance I know of, the caller does somehow have your name AND VISA #!!!, and when they ask "Hello, is this (Your name)?" DO NOT say "Yes" or anything that can be manipulated as an affirmative. Those scammers will insert them in recordings as "proof" of your order and bill your card, but you will never receive the stuffed teddy bears or *****s or whatever they're supposedly peddling. Never happened to me 'cuz I was smart enough to Google the numbers.Good luck fellow cell phone users...the wolves are out there!

This is getting old....any chance one can get themselves removed from this calling list with out confirming one's phone number is valid?
When i answered the phone - i heard the sound of an old fashioned cash register. Then a women's recorded voice began talking in spanish. THe only word I understood at the end was dinero = money. I ***g up. c'mon!
call the number back, press one during the message and then it will ask you to put in your number to be removed from calling list.

Was called 2009-06-15 19:16:52-0700 (PDT). Same as Dan reported, as soon as I answered it began spewing a messages in Spanish.
Was called from this number at 2:30 PM 6/11/09. Picked up after one signal, someone clearly just ***g up and then an automatic voice was activated giving a message in Spanish.
