MMM - I have gotten a few messages from that number as well, never answered. Finally tried calling back and got the operator's standard "Your call cannot be completed, please **** up and try a***n." Thank you for your post.
I got a call on my cell from this number (after midnight) July 20. Leaping out of bed thinking there was an emergency, I heard a choppy pre-recorded message supposedly from a bank (the name ended in Point). I don't have an account with a bank whose name ends in Point. The message instructed me to press one for (garbled words) and press 2 to speak to someone immediately. The message s****ed over, and this time I understood it to say that my account had been compromised. A***n, I don't have an account with a bank ending in the name Point. I have sleep issues and had finally drifted off to sleep before this ****** attempt at FRAUD!We have 4 cell phones on this account. They all got the same call within approximately 1 1/2 hours. 2 of those cell phones got the same call on July 21 before noon. Only my phone showed 530/230-5125 on caller ID.I reported this to my cell phone company, since their database of numbers has obviously been compromised. They said it likely a computer driven call list and is totally random, having nothing to do with their database. I disagree. The calls come to our phones in numerical sequence s****ing with the lowest number and ending with the highest.
Got a call at 3:00 .a.m. from Chico California stating that my credit card had third party activity and to press 1 for an agent. Being half asleep I ***g up. Tried to call back and line busy. Notified my cc card companies and sprint fraud.
I just got a call from a "credit union" (at 10:30 pm on a Sa****ay) and said my card had been suspended due to suspected fraudulent activity. It wanted me to enter my card number. I ***g up and tried to call back to talk to someone but the call could not be completed.
Got a call from this "credit union", said press 1 to speak to someone, then it wanted me to type in my 16 digit card number.***** no. Fraud.
