Someone needs to do so****ing about these crminals

I have been receiving harrassing phone calls from 530-269-8338. He sounds like he is from India saying the FBI is coming to my house if I don't pay a debt. My son applied for a payloan on the internet giving his social security number and I am very concerned. He never received any money. He applied about one and half years ago when he was unemployed. At that time they went into his checking account and took money. He canceled his checking account. One year ago the calls stopped, now they are s****ing a***n. The government needs to check into these scams. When I asked who was calling, it was an unknown company.

This is a company in India, who is trying to get money illegally.  They obtain the information from online payday loan applications.  If they call you (the guy who can't speak English very well calls himself Mike Smith or some other similar name), just **** up.  Then go to the website for Homeland Security and report any and all phone numbers from which you have received threatening calls.These people are not American and are not calling from in the USA.  If they keep calling, tell the person that they have been reported to the Department of Homeland Security, and that every call they make is being traced- they can expect a visit from the United States Military.  That ought to stop the harrassment.  Good luck!

I just received a call from this number.  Foreign guy with thick accent.  Pulled the whole FBI, committed a Federal crime, etc.  I asked him what was the name of the payday loan company.  He told me and I informed him repeatly that I paid off that loan, that I had written proof and would be happy to email or fax it.He just kept telllng me "this is a different one".  Ah, no it's not. I told him not to call me at my work and then ***g up and he called back a left a threatening message to be in court in CA on Tuesday.  I live in MN.  Yeah, right.  Have any of your earlier posters received more phone calls since you posted?Do I have any reason to take Peterson Law Firm seriously? Anybody got a fax number so I can send my payoff papers to this idiot.

I TOO GOT TWO PHONE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER,TODAY SAY'S IF I DID NOT TAKE CARE OF THIS AND SEND INFO TO PAY IT I WOULD BE PICKED UP MONEY BY THE LAW.I KNOW IT DID SCARE  I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS AND HOW DO THEY GET YOUR INFORMATION.

Payday loan scammer. They are extortionists. They are not collecting valid debts.Criminals buy up client lists from defunct payday loan companies, then use the information to extort money from victims. They have NO VALID DEBTS TO COLLECT. They try to scare people into giving up money with threats of arrest, legal actions, and harassment. Don't let them scare you.First of all, tell them you are recording the conversation. This will usually get rid of them right away.Never give anything to these people. Tell them that you will not consider the matter until you receive debt validation in writing through the US Postal Service. They NEVER actually follow through on their threats. They can't. The threats are empty. Don't give in. They are criminals.

I just received a call from a guy who said his name was Kevin Thompson.  He had a broken english accent that I could not understand.  I had to ask him his name 4 times.  When I finally got his name right he told me I had to call him back at this number and that he was calling from a lawyers office and that this was a legal matter.  My caller id said the call was from California. I do not have any loans or credit cards so I know this call was a scam.  I know that this is a scam so please don't give them anymore info than they have and be very careful. I wish I knew who else I could call to get these people to stop calling me... Anyone else have any ideas?

Got a call from these guys they first called my employer which totally a***nst federal law then hr rep told me to call this number back called them and said I owed 399 from this company called ez cash they demanded that I fax them a letter and agreement with my signature and ssn I told them to send me a letter stating that I owe this money because I don't remember owing this company but they said they can't do it and will just send me court papers which I never received... This is textbook harassment and should be reported

I received a call from this number, and I could hardly understand the man on the phone.  He was very rude when I told them not to call my number a***n, he even said "shut up".  This is a spam call, and this requires anyone who receives a call from this number to report it.

I got several calls from these idiots over the past month. I told them that I work in law enforcement (which I do) and that I would be reporting them to the dept. of justice. Then for pure fun, when I got off work I called them about 100 times asking for their address and all kinds of questions about this EZ Cash who I am supposed to owe money to. They finally called me crazy and asked me to go obtain some mental help and stop calling them.  Too Funny!!!

This number has a new twist. Broken English with diff name every time he calls. Said they have charges a***nst me and my ss number has been blacklisted so I will not be able to get any ss benefits. Caleed today and told me I would get my termination papers from my employer on Friday and my number has been blacklisted. Told him his paralegal that called the other day sounded amazingly like him, and it is illegal to make threats on the phone. He said he did not make threats- I told him what he said and the message he left. I was in a bad mood, told him not to call me a***n cause he's not getting any money off me and tole him he's a f........g j.......s and ***g up. Wish there was some way to stop these con artists from bothering us!

This caller says he is an attorney and has my personal information, (which he read to me over the phone) right down to my ssn and bank routing # and acct. #. Says I will be picked up within two days from law inforcement if I do not settle this case a***nst me. Says I am wanted for bank fraud and money laundering.  I can not fine any information about this person. But they do say they are working for some payday loan companys.

It all bs it a bill collector try to get you to pay.IT all BS.

Next time they call, do as I do...tell them the call is being recorded for your protection.  They **** up and won't call back (that day anyway). When they do, it's from a different phone number.  Wonder how they are able to get away with this?  Is it that hard for them to hide from the law?  Certainly they have not outsmarted us that much.  It's just a matter of time.  Just don't let them get to you. They are all talk.

I have received several calls (over time) from some middle-eastern sounding people.  Very threatening in nature, but not to worry.  They are all talk.

This person is threatening in nature. I usually reverse it and act like I am crazy before he can speak by laughing hard at him and stating other things. Then I make sure I **** up first. every time he calls-I do the same thing. Think they are getting information from on-line forms such as pay day loans or other sites.

Yes, these mid-eastern accent people 'appear' to get information about you and are scammers. They can be relentless with threats. I usually laugh real hard before they can speak and tell them I will find them and then I **** up. LOLI applied for pay day loans and that was the first s**** of these scammers. It may be the same person who c****es phone #'s. I did do a little search and found that calls are usually from California and I found phone company he uses. They stated it is always best to contact the FBI if it continues.Hope this helps

I have also been getting threatening calls from this number accusing me of fraud and other charges that are not true.  They had personal information that bothered me. I told them that they had the wrong person.  They have called three times now.

a "gentleman" just called me who speaks very broken english claiming to be from a law office, I asked him 3xs to spell the name of his office, he hu the call.  Funny thing is, I work for a law office!!  No wonder  we have so much confusion calling people. I cannot locate a name attached to this phone anywhere on google- be careful this is  possibly one of those scam companies.
