The phone number first posed as Apple as a fradulent number to call for support when a message was recieved on my Mac computer, that a Trojan horse had gotten into my computer. Then this number was used as the central number for Apple and then supposedly made into a secure line to contact my banks fraud department and then it was used as the secure number to contact the FTC for trying to find the scammers. When they were the scammers. I lost a significant amount of money because I did what they told me to do because I thought it was legitimate being Apple, my banks fraud department and the FTC., using three different people. I feel like a fool doing this, but made the mistake and then it was too late.
