Scammers, Liars, Cheats! Gold Rush Getaways in Citrus Heights Ca. Caller had very poor English. Tried to fool me into thinking she was calling from Walmart. I won A $2000 shopping spree. This is a scam to get folks to their sales seminar.

I got today (02/-6/2011) a call from a female. I answered my phone with the business name and she **** up. I called back  (******8-4627) and the phone was busy.... . I listed yes****ay on Craigslist one item that was sold within hour to a male (not a female ) and the listing was removed yes****ay night.

I "won" some kind of vacation at a timeshare resort or so****ing.  Apparently I filled out an entry form at Bass Pro a while back.

I just had a missed call.  No message.  I do not have any adds on C/L.

Called many times in a row after craigslist ad, never anyone on line.

got a call from ******8-4627, i didn't answer, no message. called it back got a busy signal, called it a***n it rang once, my call was answered but just a loud scree****g noise on the line then the line went dead. every other time i called it back i got a busy signal. i do not currently have anything listed on c.l & haven't had anything listed in over 6 months

The business name was unintelligible, as was most of the call; the voice was very high-pitched and accented, and could either have been a woman or a young child.  Either way, it was stating "you have been selected..." when I figured out that it was a telemarketer or other scammer, and ***g up on them.  They called my cell phone; it was probably trolled from a Craigslist ad.

I too got a call after posting an add on craigslist. Didn't answer phone and message was not left.

i got a couple of calls from this number today.  I did just post on CL. all i got was a "hello" when i said*****o.  If i was quiet, it ***g up after a few moments

Got two calls on my cell from this number an hour or so after I posted an ad in craigslist.

I too posted an ad on CL and they didnt leave a message and well when I called the number it was like how they specified the dead zone n yes the timer on your phone goes but no rings or nothing..so i did get a busy signal and hence I am like ok whatever..,anyways I well keep my eyes and ears open to this weird call....thanks for the update u ppl....take care n yeah...anymore replies would be great...:)-0Wait if it showed up on my call as coming from VA then if the number is in texas *** I give up..gotta be a joke or so****ing..this is sooo weird..before I posted this I wanted 2 let u ppl know the last bit of info...WARRENTON VA????????????

Same here. Seems to be from the Dead Zone. They don't respond and if you call it back, the timer runs but their line doesn't ring.

Me too.. posted an ad on craigslist and they called me.

The name that came up was Montaintop, left no message,
