What is a spif? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've never heard that term before. Is that a bonus?

At what point will they stop calling me? Now that i know what it is i'll be sending the rest of my 541 calls to VM. Also there isn't enough profit in the car to pay $1000 to my salesperson for getting all 5's--he won't get it anyways, I got a great price but I had to wait over 45 minutes for my paperwork to be completed and i was supposed to walk in sign and drive away...they have long memories and i wont get the same deal if i bash him so i'll just choose not to answer the survey period.Anyways how long until you give up?

BMW hires a 3rd party survey company to get customer feedback on their recent sales experience. They use the info to rate and pay the local dealer who was involved in the sale. If the new BMW customer rates all areas of the sales experince as a five (top rating), the BMW dealer gets excellent ratings and the local salespeson gets over $1,000.00 spif. If there are any rating lower than five, the spif supposedly is not awarded.

I called them back at 541-322-4172.  BMW was not able to locate my records via phone # or name! I'm confused!!!

It's a surveyor calling on behalf of BMW regarding customer satisfaction.  You probably just bought a new/used BMW from the BMW dealership so congrats!

ok just so you know it is not up to us on who we talk to or if they leave a message it is bmw na's rules they have to read just what it says on the screen and we have to talk to the person that brought it in so if you have a problem with there rules why dont you call them at there customer service number and b***h at them we are just doing our jobs for the people that dont have that number it is 1-800-831-1117 they are there from 9 am to 8:30 p.m e.s.t.

I have also been called by this number several times, but only one of those times I had my phone with me.  I did not recognize the number and was at work, so I figured they would leave a meassage if it were important.I think w***ver is contracted by BMW to conduct these surveys is doing a real disservice to the BMW CAs by not leaving messages.  As I understand it, the sales people rely on good ratings from this survey for their salary...I am not sure how much it influences their pay, but I have heard some say it determines their whole base salary...In any event, I would be happy to take the survey, guess I will wait until the next time you call.

Dear ISKY,If you want to ask BMW buyers about their buying experience, LEAVE A MESSAGE and if someone is interested they will be happy to call you back. It is quite arrogant of your company to insist on speaking with someone directly. Hounding buyers is a sure way to help them buy so****ing else next time. So****ing your company cares nothing about.I will certainly have a conversation with my BMW dealer about your annoying tactics and hopefully everyone else who gets these calls will do the same.

BMW customer wouldn't be rude if you guys left a simple message stating who you are and what you want.  BMW customer will be rude if you keep calling said customer over and over a***n without leaving a message.

Hey annonymous - why don't you try and be a little more judgemental. The problem is that you keep bothing us - it has nothing to do with the type of vehicle we buy. Jeez ... sounds like you need some self-esteem.

Just got one from that number today and they did not leave me a message either. I was told they would be calling however it would be a big help if they either told you the number, or the ID came up BMW. I guess I will pick it up next time.

well first of all we don't call after 9pm. As for no one is there we are on a automatic dialer so we don't here you right away. We do not use a 800 number that is probally your dealer of bmw na. We are a third party company contracted by BMW. The problem with BMW customer is they are rude and think they are better than anyone else because they buy a BMW.

I kept on getting calls from this number day and night, and sometimes midnight. Heck of it!

if you tell them a number on there scale of five to one or to take your number of the list they will stop calling you and you should really be nice to them they are just doing there jobs

They will not leave a message either - they've called me 7 times this week. The other number they'll use is 866-833-4364
