Got the following text message just now: (Contact B O A) Call (541) 697-2020 I called it and got this recording: "Thanks for calling Bank of America tele***nch service. Your bankcard had been limited due to a security issue. Please press 1 to reactivate." After pressing 1 this is the prompt you hear: "Please enter you debit card number and three digit security code on the back of the card." Definitely a fishing/fraud attempt-beware.

Message on Verizon Cell Phone "(Contact-B O A) Call (541)697-2020) - very intrusive and a bit unsettling even though suspected a scam. Second such message I have received.

Got the msg to contact BOA, knew it was a scam and this page absolutely confirmed.

Got text from 601541***@verizon.net about my master card to contact 541-697-2020. My husband got the same text.

got a text msg from this number as well today. sent to my cell from [email protected] stated Contact-Bankcorp Call 541-697-2020 Figured it was a scam of some sort. Also received an erroneous charge on my debit card same day from (855) 445-1151 for $17.97. Now I have to go to my bank in the am to prevent any other charges. Some people really **** and make life complicated for the rest of us.

I received a text from this number. It didn't have a name it just left this number with the message "urgent, please call". I will contact Verizon to file a complaint. I'm also on the national "do not call list". Is this their way of getting around it along with scamming people? Just makes me sick and very mad.

Just in. Came from [email protected] Message reads: (Contact UnivisionCard) Call (541)697-2020 Contact Verizon and let them know. This is verizon tv, internet, and home phone. Not Verizon Wireless.

Got a text message saying "(Contact -TheBancorp) Call 541-697-2020" Yeah, sure. I'll get right on that.

Like many here, got a "text" w/similar-same comments from recording when calling back # provided, asking for mu SS# as verification ... BS!!! NO FINANCIAL INS***UTION WOULD EVER SEND SUCH A MESSAGE!!! It's Totally bogus!!! Don't go for it !!!

Got text message generated from a local cell number [email protected] with message (Contact-TheBankCorp) Call 541-697-2020. Looked like a scam so I Googled it.

Just got a txt from 570220932 @verizon.net to call (541)697-2020. didn't call; thought it was strange so I googled it

Got a text from 570220932 @verizon.net to call (541)697-2020. Called and they said they needed to verify my account information and wanted me to enter my SSN. Obviously I didn't. Be careful. A bank, credit card company or any other reputable financial ins***ution would never send you a text and ask for you to call a number and enter you account or SSN.

Got text message to call this number about my account. I have no account with them. Looked it up on google and found this page. I wouldn't call......!

I got a text @ 4:16pm saying "contact BOA" call (541) 697-2020. I didn't call so I googled the number and found this page! Glad I did because I don't even have a BOA account. I'm glad this sight is up and I can contribute information :)

I got a text from this number saying my B of A account was being used excessively. When I called they asked for my account number. This number is a scam. B of A would not leave an Oregon number.

They are also using 520248847@verizon and asking to call B O A at 541 697 2020. NOT A REAL CALL. Be careful. Have deleted and contacted verizon customer service.

Exact same thing happened to me. Thankfully...I looked up the number and found others.

Call B O A 541-697-2020. Text received 08/03/14 7:15 pm MST. Deleted it.

Known scam, ignore and delete.

"Contact BOA" to call 5416972020. Did not call

The text wanted me to enter my credit card number. DUH!! I didn't do it!
