Well, it is still happening...everything is still the same.

My call was from the Oregon Department of Human Services. They left a toll free number of 800-273-0548. I did try to call back 791-5243 just to see what happened and it was disconnected.

Called my cell, was in a spot without reception. I called back and it said the number was disconnected. Looked up online but they wanted money to tell me more about the details. It's from Qwest and the Albany, oregon area.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS # ON MY CELL PHONE, DIDN'T ANSWER. LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE TRIED TO CALL BACK AND GOT DISCONNECTED MESSAGE.

I had a call placed into the Dept. of Justice Child Support Division in Albany.I just received a call back from this number and it was a woman who said she represented the DOJCSD and was returning my call in regards to my message I had lef**** was kind of strange really.  It was a different person than the usual caseworker I deal with, and she was borderline rude and uncaring about my issues I inquired about.

wow... this is wierd.. i got a call from this dude to...  he stayed quiete for a while.... he said his name was 'chuck' he rarely spoke. so freakin wierd, he gave me this # to call back 202-456-1111but i havent yet to call.

Most outgoing calls from government building show this as their number on caller ID's. I have had calls from court house with this number, police, jail, juveniel.

541-791-5243 is from inmates at Oregon Youth Authority.

he just called me and i answered. he said his name was 'chick' and that someone came in with my social security number, so he wanted to check if it was indeed mine. i didn't know my number, so i told him i would go ask my mom because i know she has the card. so he gave me 'his' number and told me to call back when i found it. the number he gave me was 503-946-6633. i'm thinking scammer, but i can't be sure. my gut is saying SCAM though, but any help would be awesome. if he told you his name was 'chick' or gave you the same backup number, to know that would be great

Keeps calling but it is a fax and when I call the number it is disconnected tryied sending fax to number but won't go through.

Didn't answer, called back disconnected...?

Received phone call this am on elderly ***her's phone number.  Yes****ay it was a scammer from Puerto Rico when looking up that caller.  Today, evidently Albany OR.  He lives in Oregon.  I am trying to get him off these phone scammers.  I don't know how to do it.  He is on the Do not call list and I report all of these obnoxious callers,  I do not answer the phone when these people call, just go online and report them.  I am sick of dropping what I am doing to look at the phone id or number and not answer it.  It is extremely irritating and if it were valid, I would not do business with them anyway.  I don't pay for a phone line to invade my privacy. It is for the convenience of my ***her to call his friends and to receive calls from friends and family and for emergencies.  NOT for scammers!

Rec'd a call from this number on my cellphone.  Didn't look familiar, so I didn't pick up.  They didn't leave a message either.  When I called the number back I got the "disconnected" message that others have reported about.  Creepy!

Got a call from this number on my cell with no voice message.  I'm from Bend. May be just a coincidence, but I applied for a passport today and had to get a certified copy of my birth certificate from the State of Colorado by fax (the fax had my phone number on it) and I got the call afterwards.  Called back - disconnected.

this number calls me all the time. dont know who it is.. strange that all these people from albany get called from the same number.

Missed a call from this number on my cell phone, like craig, when I called it back it said it was disconnected.  Wont pay for a reverse look up, but supposedly it is a valid Q west number in Albany.

I got a call from a friend who left a voice mail from this number. When I called back it was disconnected.

Said they were from the Oregon Attorney General, wanted information. If you call then number back it is disconnected.
