This debt collection agency keeps calling my house looking for someone who doesn't live there. I've told them several times that they have the wrong number, that someone gave them my number as false information, but they keep calling, sometimes three or four times in one day. The calls are always recorded messages that use up several minutes on my answering ma****e. "This call is for __________, if you are not ______________ please **** up. By continuing to listen to this message, you acknowledge that you are __________________." Blah blah blah. I'm also on the do not call list, so I ought to be able to sue them for calling me since I don't do business with their company, but the Do Not Call registry doesn't apparently deal with these problems. Great.
