****-up calls here as well.  And, as bad as the charity navigator numbers are ... it is even worse.  These charities always have corporate and legacy donors.  It costs very little to get these donations.  This means that the efficiency of cold-call phone donations is very bad indeed.  Also, some Google sear****g reveals that they spend money on things like award dinners and sending people on expense paid trips.  The best way to handle guys like this seems to be to never donate to phone solicitation.  Find your favorite charity and give to them directly.

CalPal has a terrible rating at www.charitynavigator.com.  One Star.  Over 40 percent of the money they take in goes to overhead.  Find another way to help "the kids". I have actually donated to them in the past (cops helping kids, think it was them).  But considering all the harassing ****-up calls I have had lately I will never give to them a***n, and advise all my friends and co-workers to do the same

I'm the manager.  Pal is a great cause for the kids in CA.  It is 100% 501 (c) 3 non-profit.  If you want to be taken off the list... I get these calls everyday several times a day-up to 5 times a day from this phone number. ***ody says anything when I answer and it's utterly annoying.

I have been receiving calls from California Pal for over a month sometimes more than once a day. They always **** up when I answer. I have file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

I have been receiving calls from California Pal for over a month now.  They always **** up when I answer.

I have gotten a call from 559-228-8725 for aprox. 4 weeks now... everyday! I went online and went to the California PAL site (www.calpal.org) and went to the Contact Us at the bottom of the screen. I found an 800# (1-800-622-5725). I called and actually got a human voice!!! I explained to her about the calls and she said that they had been having trouble w/ their computer/phone systems. I was able to file a complaint and have my name taken off! I hope this helps someone! I know how annoying it is and that I have exhausted my use of horrible words with them! Good Luck!!

Got a call at 9:01 PM, caller ID says California Pal 559-228-8725.  When I answered the call disconnected.
