I have been getting calls twice a day from them.  How do I get them to cease and desist?

Wow..the same exact thing happened to me!

I called the 800 number pressed 0 for the receptionist.  I said i wanted to be placed on the do-no-call list and was transferred to a woman who asked for the number being called.  I gave it to her, she confirmed our name and said it was done.  We'll see if it works.  At least the number worked.  Thanks Mark.

If they have called for so many times and ***ody answers or return their calls, why can't they stop calling.  It is annoying when they call you anytime they want to.  I have left messages for them to not call me, but it appears that they are not listening.  I will call their 1 800 number to be blocked from their calls.  This is terrible.

They're calling my cell phone too but I'm not picking based on what I'm reading here. I know I did not enter my phone number on any card, parti****te in a water quality survey, or otherwise give my personal & unlisted number out. Therefore, they must be using a ma****e to call sequential numbers because they can't otherwise find anyone to buy their product.

Yes, Its RAINSOFT.  I did a survey with a person canvasing my neighborhood about water quality and at the end of the survey they identified themselves as RAINSOFT and asked for my phone number. Two days later this number shows up. No message was left, but reading the other posts tells me its right.

I keep getting calls from this number too.  They never leave a message.  I called them back and I can never get some one.  It's time to go legal!

Maybe not your final answer to this calling problem, but it's working for me.  I'm able to block numbers on my AT&T cell phone.  It still shows up as a missed call, but at least it doesn't ring.  I also have call blocking on my land line and it's very handy.  I may also consider calling Mark.  Also might call Home Depot since I think it all s****ed, as for others, with a drawing at a home show.  Thank you all for the info.  So glad I found the website.

I have gotten about 5 missed calls from this number on my cell phone.

Okay so after finding this site 2 days ago, when this number called for the millionth time I answered it.  According to Heather, yes there was a live person on the live, it was regarding a drawing my husband entered at Home Depot a little over a month ago.  Which I can verify, since I was the one the entered him.  Appearently we didn't win the $100 gift certificate, but we would get a $20 g/c, if we would let them sample our water (so the water guess previously mentioned is true).  So Monday night I will let you all know what it is all really about

I also keep getting calls from this number all hours of the night. It is getting vewry annoying.

Mark, Why then do they constantly **** up everytime we answer the phone?

Same number has been calling me for the past two weeks and never leaves a message. When I decided to call back, it transferred me to a voice mail extension recording. If I were you don't bother picking it up.

That number does belong to a company called B & D Quality Water, Inc. I work for them.  We do water tests and sell water treatment equipment.  If you want to not be called anymore you can call 559-275-0222 or 800-964-9283 and ask to speak to Mark about being put on our do not call list. Some times we get numbers from home shows or stores where a card is filled out and thats why they are calling. But we can remove the number from our computers once I know what it is. i just dont answer its the second time this number calls could it be from a public pay phone.

2nd time I got a call from this number and no message left.  Caller ID shows "RAINSOFT"559 Area code is Fresno area and South Central California ValleyI'm****uming some sort of sales type call
