My child keeps getting threatening and harrassing calls on his cell phone from these people. Everything they say doesn't add up, and though we've asked them to stop, the calls continue. I am contacting the police.

GOT THIS CALL AT MY WORK FROM A SUPPSOED MR. NELSON WHO IS A SUPPOSED LAWYER WHEN I CALLED THEY DONT EVEN ANSWER WITH A BUSINESS NAME ITS THE INDIAN MAN WHEN I ASKED FOR MR. NELSON HE SAID MR. NELSON WAS IN COURT PROBABLY LUNCH AND HE WANTED MY CASEE# ADVISED HIM I DONT HAVE A CASE NUMBER I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY THEY ARE CALLING ME HE GOT MY WORK NUMBER AS I ADVISED HIM DO NOT CALL ME THERE ANYMORE AND SAID YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN YOUR PAPERWORK FOR YOUR COURT DATE ON 1/25 I SAID NO I DONT EVEN KNOW WHO YOU GUYS ARE WHAT YOUR CALLING ME ALSO DEMANDED TO KNOW THEIR NAME HE SAID DAVENPORT AND****OCIATES SINCE IWAS JUST ON MY BREAK HE SAID I COULD CALL BACK TO SEE WHAT THEY WERE CHARGING ME WITH WHICH I SAID I WOULD DO NOT SEE ANY COMPNAY IN FRESNO FOR DAVENPORT &****OCIATES IN YELLOW PAGES OR 411 SO WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CALL BACK JUST CURIOUS TO KNOW IF EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS GOTTEN A CALL FROM THESE PEOPLE ARE LOCATED IN FRESNO AREA

I just received a call from the same people. Telling me they were suing me for check fraud, illegal money laundering and another charge. They said it was a pay day loan that I stopped payment on. Now I do have a payday loan - but it is also taken out of my checking account every two weeks...they even had the name of my bank and my wife's name and my mothers name. Very rude and a very strong accent that I could barely understand what he was saying. Who do I contact to report these people...the police??

Okay Here We Go: Got a Call Threating Me With Legal Action As Well As Arrest If I Didnt Make Payment of $800. I told him I would fax him my paperwork within a hour. He Called me back 7 times within that hour asking for my fax and credit card information. I told him I couldnt do it at that moment because I was at work and from there I got really su****ious. I told him I wanted the number to the company suing me and he gave me a 760-282-0260 number which also had guys talking with a heavy accent. At first he didnt want to give me the number. He kept instanting that they wanted nothing to do with me. I thought that was dumb so I investigated and actually called Star Cash which was the company suing me for non payment. They told me that they never called me nor have an account with me. They told me direct that "the people calling me with heavy indian accent. . . are frauds". They asked that I report it to www.ftc.gov The company is a fraud. Do not release any information to them whatsoever.

got the same one. his name is andy ***t and he called my work approximately 17 times in one hour and my boss told him to...well you know.. but anyways he said all the same things. when you call the number the middle eastern accent from the guy that answers you ask himi to speak to a certain person and you hear a few keypad beeps and then someone 'else' gets on the phone. coincidentally that person sounds EXACTLY the same. but its strange how he could have the last four of my social and all that good stuff. so im not gunna lie im kind of worried but i will take them all down in court if i have to.

Okay I Got A Call Basically the Same As Above. I Answered and Played along. Then about 10 minutes later I get the same call and yet the guy c****ed his name from Jayson Smith to ***ndon Lopez. Same Indian Accent and all. I was in total disbelief and didnt know what to do. I will just wait and see if they do pursue and put charges on me.

this is a scam... beware of the callers and information they give you, contact your local authorities immediately. i received a call on 1-05-10 and they told me i was going to jail for federal money laundering if funds were not paid back that had been advanced to me in 12-08 through my checking account online.  this never happened.  so please be advised it is a scam!!!!!

I recieved a call from this #:1-559-314-0899.They said i had a charge a***nst me for check fraud and so****ing else but i couldnt understand them because he didnt have good english.Then they transfered me to a attorney"suuposedly". and he sounded like someone trying to c****e their voice to sound like a older man.This # has to be fake.dont answer it.
