I received a message the week of Thanksgiving from an Indian speaking man named Henry saying the same thing and telling me and my spouse ( I am not married) that there is a law suit filed a***nst me and if I don't return call I will be sorry.  I tried calling back in the evening, but the message said it was  a non working number.  I called the next day during the day, and spoke to a woman with Indian accent that said Henry was in a meeting. I explained what had happened and that I had not applied for any loans, then s****ed asking her questions and was forceful, she then ***g up on me.  I called   back later and stated I worked for a police dept and i needed more info about this loan, and the lady ***g up on me a***n.  Last night had another message for the same man, with a different number: 916-236-4569 I called back and spoke to an Indian man that stated the same thing giving me my last four SS numbers, I asked him to give the full SS and he did.  I told him I was really police officer Barton and calling on behalf of the client and he got very upset and told me not to call him or he will file a harassment charge a***nst me.  I called back and told him I would like to talk to his supervisor so I can give them my police case number and he ***g up on me.

some one by the name Andy Young indian accent caled my job and cell number saying im being sued and i asked him for what and he ***g up i called back asking for him and they had me on hold for a long time i told them if they continue to call i will get my lawyer involved.

Keep calling me with threatening messages saying I oreowe money this needs to stop! Number is 5594734670

I got a call from "Kevin Paul" telling me I owed money and wishing me "good luck" if I did not pay and unspecified amount. The call strongly implied criminal charges or a lawsuit. I called back and was told I did not pay back a payday loan. When I explained I did not owe money and asked for the details of the loan the person ***g up. I called back and the person immediately ***g up.

John Wright and Lisa Smith (haha very generic names for indians (O: _) called me as well.  Same type story as listed above.  If you reverse look up the number it is a T-mobile #.  I called T-Mobile and they are investigating as well!  These guys call me every so often.  WHAT #$@#holes!

Before calling I read the comments I got the following information from them, Comapny name Lanphier and****oc.'s, located at 1140 West Ovington Street, Lancaster, Ca 93534 but area code 559 is located in Fresno, CA.

This so called company called me on 11/23/09 and said that I owed money and that I had to pay it today or there would be a warrant for my arrest on 11/26/09. The man by the name of John Wright (a foreigner) was very rude. I ***g up the phone and he called back and left a horrible message regarding my wife and daughter. These people are a bunch of scammers. We have filed a complaint and it is under investigation. Please DO NOT SEND THIS PEOPLE ANY MONEY OR GIVE THEM ANY INFO.....

5594734670...  its a scam dont be fooled. they take your idenity and say you owe big money or your going to go to jail in 2 days if you do not pay. this is not a JOKE. please read this! I dont want any one to be scammed!

This guy goes by the name of James ****man. So I call him back and cuss him out backwards and forwards, tell him he's a no good scam artist in some very colorful language. He ****s up eventually. He then calls back a few hours later, acting as if he never had spoke to me earlier. I gave him the same business and he ****s up a***n. It's a scam. I would encouRAge anyone that encounters this to call the local authorities.

All the same as previous statements; has a hard to understand Accent, call immediately or have an attorney call.  There name to call back was Karen or Kevin Ball...Said to return call to their division 1-559-473-4670.

I also was conacted today 11/26/09. Their number came up private so I let go to voice mail. The message left was threatening I saved the message and called them back at 559-473-4670. The lady said she was the boss I was told that they had three charges a***st me I was told that I owned over 5000.00 and that I would be arrested tomorrow and that my mother and a friend would also be conacted and arrested. All the infor. that she gave me including my mothers phone and my address was wrong. I don't even have a bank account they also had me working at a job that I haven't worked at since 05/04. Then Isaid I would call the bank that they are saying the money went to tomorrow morning because they where closed for the holidays. They would not listen and ***g-up. My ***her called them and he was told I have one word for you "f you". I called 911 and the sheriff called me back. He said that this was not the first time they have had this complain. He ask for the phone number I gave it to him and he said that he would call me back. He called back and said that the accent was so thick that it was hard to understand them. When he told them who he was and why he was calling they said they would take my phone number off the list. He said that I should not be called anymore and that he would turn it over to have it looked into.

I was told the same thing as Hope - If I don't resolve this matter with them by today I, along with a friend and my daughter who I listed as references, will be picked up early thursday and taken to court by an officer of the FDBA. The court will fine me over $5,000 (he stated a specific amount, including cents) and if I don't pay I will go to jail. Very thick East Indian accent but said his name was Robert Richards - what a joke right there. I informed him this is the U.S.A., Thursday is Thanksgiving and courts are closed. Besides, whatever the***** the "FDBA" is, it has no authority to come to my home and take me or anyone else away, I could justifiably ***** them in self defense as they attempt to kidnap me or anyone in my family. I told him do not call my work cell a***n and ***g up. He called right back anyway and said if I don't call right back "I can only wish you luck as the situation unfolds upon you." That's his standard script at the end of every message.

I received a call yes****ay and today.  These people are ignorant.  The message today said I was the prime suspect in criminal action and that I would be arrested and taken to the courthouse tomorrow.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and the court is closed.  Yes****ay I got a ****** girl and told her that she was being tape recorded. She said so, then I told them they were a bunch of frauds and that I had reported them to the police and the FBI.  She ***g up, but they called back today.

I to have been getting harassing phone calls at my job, my worker called me letting me know I called the number back they have my social security and my old bank account telling me there is a lawsuit a***nst me for a payday loan I took out for $500 and I never paid it back I told her I never took out a payday loan and I also contacted National payday loan and they don't have me in there system she ***g up on me I called them back and left them a message telling them to stop calling my job or I will be fired and I don't owe no money for a payday loan and I contacted the FBI and the police.

UPDATEDI received a message on my work answering ma****e this morning from this same person with a new phone number 559-473-4670.  I had blocked the 323-474-0503.I did call back last week and spoke with a woman with an indian accent - told her they could not call my work anymore or I would be fired.  I told her I needed written do***entation about the suit and loan so I could check in to it from my end.  I said since you have my email address and home address - get it to me.  I heard NOTHING - then I get this message this morning.  I blocked this number also.  I have added what I originally posted last week for the 323-474-0503 number for everyones reference.  I received a message on my work answering ma****e from a very foreign(strong Indian accent)gentleman named David Jackson.  He was very hard to understand and stated he left me a message on February 2nd.  Now this is November!  He stated in his message I need to have my attorney or myself call him immediately.  It was very urgent.  Then he said if I do not call him or have my attorney call him, all he could do was wish me good luck. I am to return the phone call to 323-474-0503.  I will not be calling back.  This is the 5th time this year at least that I have received phone calls with persons w/ heavy Indian accents trying to scam me out of money - saying I have criminal charges a***nst me or will have them, that I will be arrested and go to jail.  They are people who obtain information from when you apply or obtain a payday loan.  I never defaulted on one and  haven;t had one in about 3 years.  They use scare tactics.  I did fall victim to one last year but I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and didn't need the stress, they got $150.I try to get as much information from them as possible.  I tell them I need so****ing in writing on their company letterhead.  Most of the times they will not divulge their company address.  I have been contacted by two different people in different months stating they had the same street address but in different cities.  Neither one really existed.  These people often use cell phones or numbers that come back as unpublished.  This harassment has got to stop.  I myself have had too much stress in dealing with these people.  I block their phone numbers from work, don't give them my information and tell them I can not receive personal calls at work and to email me with any issues.  I had one guy call back every 10 seconds for over an hour because he was mad I would not let him speak with my boss - who was not here - i was the only one here.I have spoken with some of the actual payday loan companies and they too say this is all a scam.  I have checked also and I owe no one any money.  I also spoke with a county Sheriff friend of mine and he said that for these people to actually press charges, they would have to come to where I am to see the magistrate - it can't be done from another state.  This scamming ring is getting out of hand and needs to stop!I am posting this in as many places as i can to see if it will help in stopping these people
