They immediately asked me for my number attached to my Western Dental account

These people have called twice stating that they are from the corporate office of Western Dental and that they are trying to collect a debt. First and foremost Western Dental is not currently open to provide service during the shelter-in place order. Secondly, I'm on automatic billing. Haven't missed a payment, Haven't received a letter or otherwise from Western Dental regarding any missed payments. I also received a call a few weeks ago from what I now believe to be these people wanting me to pay up in advance for the contract I issued into with Western Dental for the work that I need done? This is unheard of from a legit business that is currently closed for operation. So what I find interesting is that these people appear to be trash****maging scammers or Western Dental is hurting for business and squeezing their clientele to stay a float. Either way, this is not acceptable. Have you ever heard of a business that claims you missed an automatic payment on a holiday (Memorial Day) and two days later you're getting threats from a debt collector who allegedly calls you from a residence in Visalia and no indication that they are affiliated with any business dental, collection or otherwise? This has got to be a scam or Western Dental is really in trouble? Take from this what you will. Consumer beware!
