I did get scammed.  I did have some payday loans, and Kevin Peterson left harrassing phone calls at work. I called him and he was threatening and rude.  But I was scared -- he ws so believable.  I lost $1,200.  Sometimes the caller id was an 800 number and once it was a 714 number.

I got harrassing phone calls at work about a 7 month old payday loan that Kevin Peterson claimed was not paid and threatened me with 3 criminal charges.  He also claimed he was an attorney then later stated he worked for an attorney.  They wanted $745.75 to settle out of court.  It was hard to understand alot of what he was saying due to his THICK indian accent.  When I asked for proof that the payday loan company made this deposit, he had no paperwork.  I went online to check my bank account and of course, no deposit was made.  When I asked for the specific company name, he ******* specify since Cash Connect has numerous subsidaries.  I ask when the deposit was allegedly made and the amount.  First he claimed $300 then later said between $300-$400.  Glad I looked up this company online.  THEY ARE A SCAM!
