Leave a CommentI just received a call from (561)482-7092 ,I didn't answer the call, and no message was left . I called bak and it was busy ,I then did a " Who Is " search on Google and found a plethera of complaints. So I felt compelled to text the number and leave them a message :" You have been reported,F*** OFF "I'm sick of these idiots violating my time and privacy =
Same story as all of the above except when I asked with which credit card comapany are they with the woman ***g up. I like Peter's response from 10 April 2008. Good idea. I work out of my home so I don't have that much time to go to pay phones though. However, if you go to the National Do Not Call website and file a complaint the Feds might jump into the fray and go after them. Here's the link: https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspxI'm also looking into filing a comaplaint with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office since that is the county for Boca Raton. If I find anything else out I'll post an update.
two calls in two days. ****s up at the message. Called the number back and get the "this number has been disconnected," recording. How do they do that? Why do they do that?
Second day in a row. Calls me and ****s up before the message.
press 1 and they offer to lower your credit card interest rate. I asked what credit card and they told me my "Master Card". I asked which master card and they disconnected.
Yup, I pressed 1 and they just offered to lower my credit card interest rates and said I had no problems. Guess they don't know what they're talking about. I have plenty of problems three of six cards in default and in court due to divorce, loss of job medical expenses etc. I ask them to take me off their call list and said I was on the national registry to do not call and they ***g up. I called back and a recording said the number had been disconnected. I believe they said they were national bank which when I googled is a bank in Boca Raton that has been closed since 2002.
Yup, they just called here offering to lower my credit card interest rates...only problem is I have no balances!!!!! When I called them back and pressed 1..and I was asked how they could help me...I told guy that HE called me..and he ***g up!! Pepper them with return phone calls...make them pay!!!!!
I receive a call from this number at least twice a week, on home and cell phone lines (I would love to know how they got my cell phone number). It is always the same message mentioned above- ...there is no problems with your credit cards but we would like to talk to you about lowering your rates..I have signed up for all do not call lists, but this company doesn't get the hint.
Called while away. Heather's msg was on my recorder. I called 1-888-226-5185 a***n today and asked to be placed on their do not call list. Complaint filed with the FCC and the Nat'l Do Not Call Registry using 1-888-226-5185 for the complaints.
The following levels the playing field a bit:As stated earlier, the company behind these calls is IXE Accelerated Financial Services, and they have a toll-free number: 1-888-226-5185.Call this number from a public (i.e., pay) phone booth to voice your concerns multiple times. They have to pay significantly (over $0.50 per call) each time they pick up because they have to reimburse the pay phone company on top of their regular phone bills! This gets their attention. Ask them to remove your number. It's gratifying to know that they have to pay more than $0.50 to hear your concerns, and that you can make them pay more if they continue to harass you.UPDATE: This solution was posted on another site yes****ay, to which the scammers answered that they could block the payphone number from which you called by pressing *67. This proves that they are getting anxious from the thought that all of you will be calling them. And sombody else posted a great response to the scammers' answer: "when you block one pay phone number, we can always go to another one, then another...".Summarizing: calling the 1-888 number from a pay phone to voice your concern them doesn't cost you a penny, but you make them pay over $0.50 and that gets their attention.
Called to a "Do not Call #" in Minnesota. 4th time offense. Notified them of their error and the fines applicable on the 2nd call.Fines are $ 1500 per call after the notification.
